De Nederlandse wijntraditie, die zijn oorsprong vindt in de Romeinse tijd, maakte na de Middeleeuwen allengs plaats voor andere vorm van agrarische bedrijvigheid. Dit veranderde toen in 1970 de eerste wijnstokken terugkeerden op de zuidhellingen van het Jekerdal in Maastricht. Hier, op een van de Limburgs mooiste plekjes boven op de Kouwberg, troont Nederlands oudste en grootste wijndomein ‘De Apostelhoeve’. Dit wijndomein, inmiddels ruim 6 hectare groot, levert vier mooie, droge witte wijnen waarvan wij er twee bieden.

The Dutch wine tradition with it’s origin in the Roman times, led to a new form of agriculture after the Middle ages. All changed in 1970 when the first vines made their comeback on the southern hills of the Jekerdal in Maastricht. Here, on one of the prettiest spots of Limburg, on top of the Kouwberg, is Holland’s oldest vineyard ‘De Apostelhoeve’. This vineyard, 6 hectares big, produces 4 nice dry white wines. We offer two of them.
