garden more often, which has the sun in the afternoon. Both the front and back

“It is a very friendly neighbourhood and community,” adds Mai. “It is also close to everything one needs. Belmont and Cheam train stations are within walking distance for us; Gatwick

can be reached in around 30 minutes whilst Heathrow is also easily reached. The grammar schools, Sutton Grammar for Boys and Nonsuch High School for Girls, have proved to be

excellent – both my children graduated to medical school. I shall miss walking and taking coffee in Nonsuch Park, which also has a David Lloyd gym nearby. Cheam Village itself has

an array of restaurants with different cuisines, whilst Sutton and Epsom offer good shopping. If you play golf, the house is conveniently located between Cuddington and Banstead

Downs golf courses. I will miss the house, which has been a very happy family home with its lovely reception space and kitchen,” concludes Mai. “I will especially miss my bedroom,

which has an en-suite Jacuzzi and is double aspect and so benefits from views of both the sunrise and sunset; it is my favourite place to relax. However, the time has now come for

me to downsize and to relocate to be closer to my daughter who lives in Kingston but will take many happy memories with me.”
