Forbes Open Gardens Where: Various Locations Time: 9am-5pm Cost: $20 for all gardens, or $5 per each individual garden. Wrist bands will be sold at the first garden only. The Forbes Horticultural Society and Garden Club Inc. present their 10th annual non-competitive Open Gardens in 2017, following last year’s cancelled event due to our floods. A one-day event for the public to view 8 local gardens, generously opened by the owners. The day will go ahead rain, hail or shine, beginning at Forbes North School Vegie Garden, Thomson/York Streets. Morning tea (9am-12pm, Forbes North School) and a BBQ lunch (11.45am-2pm, “Brooklyn”, Victory’s Road) will be available on the day, at own cost.
