To gain entry to the appropriate areas equipped with badge-reader doors you will be required to use your badge. "Piggybacking" (an act in which an authorized person holds open a protected door for another person that he or she knows or perceives to have authorized access) and "tailgating" (an act in which an unauthorized person slips through a protected door after an authorized person) are both against Ricoh security policies and are not permitted.

Always make sure you have your badge as, in case of emergency, it will be needed for re-entry.

*NOTE: If traveling by air, do not bring your tools, RLI Hayward will provide them. Technology classes such as Scanning, Printing, CAC, etc. do not require tools. Contact instructor if there are any questions about what you need.

Class Procedures Class day begins at 8:00 am, unless otherwise noted. One hour is allowed for lunch. Network / Internet access will be via Wi-Fi on your Laptop. If this is an issue, please contact instructor prior to class. Tools and materials may be left in the classroom overnight at your own risk. At the end of each day please clean up the classroom and lab areas placing trash and recyclables in their proper containers. Also, ensure all tools are accounted for and properly stored. Please do not leave laptops or valuables in the classroom overnight.

Dress Code During training, all students are required to dress in a neat and professional manner. Business casual attire should be worn during normal business hours.

Meals RLI Hayward, CA does not provide lunch nor have Cafeteria services - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals. There are several off-site lunch options nearby (not in walking distance). Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch. Our break/lunchroom is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster for students’ use. Please note that we no longer have vending machines on site.

Cell Phones In the State of California, it is against the law to text messages or to use any hand-held device while driving, however, the use of hands free devices is allowed: hands-free device restrictions. For more details, please visit the CA DMV's cell phone laws FAQ. Also, please note it is against RICOH policy to drive while using your cell phone without a hands-free set. In class, cell phones may be left on silent mode or turned off. We suggest you change your outgoing voicemail greeting to reflect that you’re in training and provide an alternate service contact.

Outside Line Access

Phone numbers in California require an area code prefix. Phone usage inside the training facility does not require dialing 9 to access an outside line.

Parking / Building Access Free parking is available next to our facility.

Building entrance to the lobby opens at 7:30am.

Emergency Closing or Delayed Openings During a local emergency or severe weather conditions, you should check with your instructor for information concerning cancellations or delayed

Smoking All Ricoh facilities are non-smoking. Hayward is located in Alameda County, a “smoke-free” county, where smoking in public outdoor areas is prohibited. You may smoke outside our building keeping a minimum distance of 20 feet from the entrance door and any windows (E-Cigarette included). Please do not litter. Thank you for your cooperation!

Airport Information Fly into Oakland International Airport (OAK). The airport is about 12 miles from RLI Hayward.

The Hampton Inn does NOT provide shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.

IMPORTANT - Ricoh USA employees: Your service manager must request that your Declining Balance Card be enabled and funded for ground transportation. Please refer to Ricoh’s “Ground Transportation for Service Training Travel” document on SharePoint.

There are 3 options to get from the airport to the hotel:

1. UBER – This requires that you have the Uber app on your mobile device and an Uber account 2. LYFT – This requires that you have the Lyft app on your mobile device and have a Lyft account. 3. TAXI – Call for a taxi to provide transportation (typically more expensive than Uber or Lyft)

If you’re going to be using Uber or Lyft, meet your driver at the “Smartphone App Rides” pickup area at stop 2E which is located on the second curb from the terminal, separated by the island. If you’re going to be using a taxi, please follow the signs to the Taxi Pickup Area.

The Hampton Inn will normally request a credit card to cover incidental charges such as telephone calls and in-room movies.

IMPORTANT: When you check in, please identify yourself as a "RICOH TRAINING Guest" and verify that you are being charged the $114/night (+tax) corporate RICOH TRAINING rate. Should there be an issue, notify your instructor on the first day of class!

Ricoh USA employees: At check-in, make sure that your security deposit is NOT put on the Ricoh Declining Balance Card!

The Hampton Inn features a free continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi Internet. Do not leave any valuables in your car overnight!

Shuttle / Transportation If you will need a ride to the Ricoh Training Center in the morning, the same 3 options are available for transportation as noted in the “Airport Information” section for Hayward. FYI, you might be able to catch a ride with fellow Ricoh students, so keep your eyes open for a Ricoh shirt.

Please also keep in mind that whichever option you choose, you must be at the training center, ready to go, by 8:00 AM!

Hotel Information Our recommended hotel is The Ayres Hotel & Suites in Costa Mesa. Map location Address: 325 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Phone: (714) 549-0300 The hotel will normally request a credit card to cover incidental charges such as telephone calls and in room movies. RAC students should use the Travel for Services Training processes published on RWorld to make their reservations. RAC students using the RICOH/Citibank Declining Balance Card are restricted to using the card for lodging and meal expenses only. Dealer students using the Ayres should call the hotel directly for reservations. In order to get the Ricoh negotiated rate ($115/night as of November 2016), please specify you are attending a Ricoh Learning Institute training class when making your reservation. All students are responsible for paying all hotel expenses including room, tax and if applicable incidentals. The Ayres will provide RLI Irvine student travelers the following complimentary services:

• Airport Shuttle (read “Shuttle / Transportation” below)

• Shuttle between the hotel and RLI Irvine (see below)

• Breakfast Buffet

• Wi-Fi Internet

• Parking The Ayers also offers students the ability to purchase a boxed lunch for your departure day.

You will need to place your order by noon the day before your departure and then pay for it when you pick it up the following morning.

A lunch menu and ordering instructions are included with this letter.

If you order a boxed lunch and do not pick it up, you will be charged for the lunch when checking out.

Shuttle / Transportation If you would like to make use of the Ayres’ shuttle service to RLI Irvine, please schedule this with the front desk the evening before the class.

Each morning, when traveling to RLI Irvine, please arrive at the lobby no less than 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time provided by the front desk staff.

The shuttle will pick students up from RLI Irvine at 4 pm for return to The Ayres. You might be able to catch rides with fellow Ricoh students or make other arrangements. If this is the case, please be courteous, inform your Instructor in advance, and make sure you cancel any shuttle arrangements you had previously made with the hotel. Otherwise, confirmed seats gone “empty” may result in additional charges that will be passed on to your manager.

What to Bring to Class

● 32 GB flash drive for Fiery classes.

● Instructor’s “Welcome” email might include additional requirements for your specific class.

● TAS specific courses, the instructor will email items needed. You will need your computer.

If traveling by air, do not bring your tools, it is not necessary. RLI Tigard Training Center will

provide them. Technology classes such as Scanning, Printing etc. do not require tools. Contact

instructor if there are any questions about what you need!

Class Procedures Class day begins at 8:00 am, unless otherwise noted. One hour is allowed for lunch. Network / Internet access will be via Wi-Fi on your Laptop. If this is an issue, please contact instructor prior to class. Tools and materials may be left in the classroom overnight at your own risk. At the end of each day please clean up the classroom and lab areas placing trash and recyclables in their proper containers. Also, ensure all tools are accounted for and properly stored. Please do not leave laptops or valuables in the classroom overnight.

Dress Code During training, all students are requested to dress in a neat and professional manner. Business casual attire should be worn during normal business hours. Denim jeans are not allowed. Ricoh US employees, please refer to the Corporate Dress Code Policy.

Meals RLI Tigard neither provides lunch nor has Cafeteria services - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals. Lunch break is normally 11:30 am ~ 12:30 pm each day. There are several off-site lunch options nearby. Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch. Our break/lunchroom is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster for students’ use.

Cell Phones In the State of Oregon, it is against the law to text messages or to use any hand-held device while driving, however, the use of hands free devices is allowed. Also, please note it is against RICOH policy to drive while using your cell phone without a hands-free set. In class, cell phones may be left on silent mode or turned off. We suggest you change your outgoing voicemail greeting to reflect that you’re in training and provide an alternate service contact.

Outside Line Access Phone numbers in Oregon require an area code prefix. There is a telephone in the lunchroom with direct outside line access, should you need one. Just dial the number.

Parking / Building Access The Training Center opens at 7:30AM. Please park in spaces marked “Reserved for Ricoh – Students.” Please plan to arrive between 7:30 ~ 8:00AM.

Emergency Closings or Delayed Openings During a local emergency or severe weather conditions, you should check with your instructor for information concerning cancellations or delayed openings. Alternately you may call our inclement weather closer number 503-603-8187 for a list of local office closers. Always use your best judgment and common sense.

Smoking All Ricoh facilities are non-smoking. You may smoke outside the building in designated “Smoking Areas” only. In Oregon, it is a state law that there is no smoking within 10 feet of any door (E-Cigarette included). Thank you for your cooperation!

Airport Information Please fly to Portland International Airport (PDX).

There’s no hotel shuttle service available to/from the airport. Hotel Information Our hotel of choice is “The Grand Hotel at Bridgeport”. Map location Address: 7265 SW. The Grand Hotel provides breakfast in the dining room. They will also provide shuttle service, should you need it, within a 5-mile radius, including to the Training Center.

Shuttle / Transportation If you would like to make use of The Grand Hotel’s shuttle service to RLI Tigard, please schedule this with the hotel’s front desk the evening before the class.

Each morning, when traveling to RLI Tigard, please arrive at the lobby no less than 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time provided by the front desk staff.

The shuttle will pick students up from RLI Tigard after 4 pm, as arranged with front desk, for return to The Grand Hotel.

There is NO hotel shuttle service available to/from airport.

For transportation to/from Chicago’s Airports (O’Hare and Midway) you may use A-1 Limo Service services for both airports. Call them a day or two ahead of time at 1-800-354-5849 to arrange transportation. Be sure to ask for a “shared” limo, this will reduce the cost.

Meals RLI St. Louis does not provide lunch nor have Cafeteria services - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals. There’s a local restaurant offering a standard menu and in-house delivery as well as several other options nearby (please read “Restaurants” section). Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch. Our break/lunchroom is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, water dispenser, and toaster for students’ use. There is no vending service, so bring those types of items if needed.

Cell Phones In the State of Missouri, there’s no law regarding the use of cell phones while driving. The state does, however, ban texting for drivers 21 and younger. Even so, please note it is against RICOH policy to drive while using your cell phone without a hands-free set. In class, cell phones may be left on silent mode or turned off.

If you cannot make the provided transportation at that time, you will need to make your own arrangements for transportation to the Training Center.

IMPORTANT - Ricoh USA employees: Your service manager must request that your Declining Balance Card be enabled and funded for ground transportation. Students flying should not make flights prior to 5:30 pm on the final day of class. If there are challenges with your booking, you should directly contact your instructor PRIOR to booking in order to explore available options. This will be arranged by RLI St Louis Staff, provided departure times are in compliance with RLI St Louis guidelines. Should an exception be made, the student may also require taxi service at their sole expense.

Badges RLI Arlington, TX is a secured facility. Ricoh employees are required to bring their assigned identity badge. New hires and dealer affiliated employees will be issued temporary access badges and will be required to return them on the last day of training. We are all required to wear and display our badges at all times while in the education facility for the duration of the training event.

In order to gain entry to the appropriate areas equipped with badge-reader doors you will be required to use your badge. Badges RLI Pittsburgh, PA is a secured facility. Ricoh employees are required to bring their assigned identity badge. New hires and dealer affiliated employees will be issued temporary access badges and will be required to return them on the last day of training. We are all required to wear and display our badges at all times while in the education facility for the duration of the training event.

In order to gain entry to the appropriate areas equipped with badge-reader doors you will be required to use your badge. "Piggybacking" (an act in which an authorized person holds open a protected door for another person that he or she knows or perceives to have authorized access) and "tailgating" (an act in which an unauthorized person slips through a protected door after an authorized person) are both against Ricoh security policies and are not permitted. If traveling by air, do not bring your tools, it is not necessary. RLI Pittsburgh, PA Training Center will provide them. Technology classes such as Scanning, Printing, etc. do not require tools. Contact instructor if there are any questions about what you need.

Class Procedures Class day begins at 8:00 am, unless otherwise noted. One hour is allowed for lunch. Network / Internet access will be via Wi-Fi on your Laptop. If this is an issue, please contact instructor prior to class. Tools and materials may be left in the classroom overnight at your own risk. At the end of each day please clean up the classroom and lab areas placing trash and recyclables in their proper containers. Also, ensure all tools are accounted for and properly stored. Please do not leave laptops or valuables in the classroom overnight.

Dress Code During training, all students are required to dress in a neat and professional manner. Business casual attire should be worn during normal business hours. Denim jeans are not allowed. Ricoh employees, please refer to the Corporate Dress Code Policy.

Meals RLI Pittsburgh does not provide lunch nor have Cafeteria services - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals.

The Foster Plaza Cafeteria is in walking distance of the training center. Cash / Debit / Credit / and Ricoh credit cards are accepted. There are also restaurants available within driving distance (please read “Restaurants” section). Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch. Our Training room is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and coffeemaker for students’ use. Select beverages may also be purchased or a nominal fee.

Cell Phones In Pennsylvania, it is against the law to text message while driving although using a cell phone is not prohibited. Also, please note it is against RICOH policy to drive while using your cell phone without a hands-free set. In class, cell phones may be left on silent mode or turned off. We suggest you change your outgoing voicemail greeting to reflect that you’re in training and provide an alternate service contact.

Outside Line Access Phone numbers in Pittsburgh require an area code prefix. Phone usage inside the training facility requires dialing 9 -1 to access an outside line.

Parking / Building Access

Parking is available around the building.

Building entrance to the lobby opens at 7:00am. The training center is located on the 2nd floor. Entry into the training center is enabled at 7:45am via your Ricoh / Guest badge.

Emergency Closings or Delayed Openings During a local emergency or severe weather conditions, you should check with your instructor for information concerning cancellations or delayed openings. Airport Information Fly into Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).

Distance to our primary hotel (Crowne Plaza Greentree, Pittsburgh PA) is approximately 16 miles. There’s shuttle service available to/from the airport but better make your reservation in advance.

Meals RLI Parsippany does not provide lunch - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals. Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch.

Within our facility we offer a “full-service” cafeteria, which is located in the training center’s lobby. In addition to cash, debit/credit cards are also accepted. Breakfast is from 7:30 ~ 10:30 AM and lunch is from 11:30 ~ 2:00 PM, however the grill shuts down at 2:30. Vending machines are located on the “Parking Level” to purchase beverages and snacks. Coffee is provided free in the Student Breakfast room but is not free in the cafeteria.

Cell Phones While driving, the New Jersey cell phone statute prohibits the use of a cell phone, unless it is a “hands free” device. MORE SUGGESTIONS FROM YOUR TRAINERS When driving in New Jersey Seatbelts must be worn. Make note of local and highway speed limits. Most areas of turnpikes, thruways, parkways and inter/intra state highways are 55 MPH. County and main roads are usually 35~40 MPH and tertiary roads may be 25 MPH or less, especially in residential, school, and industrial zones.

At fueling stations, gasoline may only be pumped into your vehicle by authorized employees. New Jersey and Oregon are the only states where it is prohibited and illegal to pump your own gas. No extra charge for full service. There may be an increased cost per gallon when using debit or credit cards. Many stations have complimentary window washing supplies and an air machine if your tires are somewhat deflated.

It would not be completely true to say that you cannot make any left hand turns in New Jersey – just on most highways and major thoroughfares. Especially in busy traffic, this eliminates bottlenecks at busy turnoffs and intersections. The “Jersey Jug handle” (type C) has you bypass your exit, then turn right to swing around and cross over the multi lanes of traffic. Usually, lanes are designated by arrows as to cars only able to go straight or make a left or right turn. For U-turns, there may be a “go on green arrow only” to avoid any “right of way” misunderstandings.

Transportation to NYC

You came this far; did you consider a quick bus train into Manhattan? (…definitely beats driving and parking!) Located near the hotel, about a 6 minute drive (schedule the Hotel Shuttle), is the Morris & Essex line train station that for about $10 to $12 dollars can get you into the city in about 90 minutes. Destination point Port Authority Bus Terminal, folks may venture a few blocks east to Times Square and pay homage to our eco-friendly Ricoh sign completely powered by solar panels. Visit “the sign” located over the Chase Bank on 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, then wander over to the pedestrian mall in close proximity to the popular MTV studios, the ESPN Zone, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and other famous restaurants. Did you ever see the ball drop on New Year’s Eve on TV? Stop by and take a picture!

Once in Port Authority, you can catch a subway downtown to the new One World Trade Center (ground zero) or perhaps Greenwich Village, Tribeca, Little Italy or Chinatown. Or, go uptown to Central Park. No tickets for a game? It is still a memorable experience to take the ride up to Yankee Stadium, especially during a home team series. Whatever – souvenirs are available everywhere.

When you get here: If you will be driving to a training class at RLI Parsippany, please park in a spot that is not reserved for visitors. On the first day, please enter into the main lobby. When you arrive at Ricoh Learning Institute East in Parsippany, please look for the electronic display sign in lobby by the reception desk. You will see a slide show with information regarding the classes for the week. Confirm your class and date. No need to sign in the Visitor Log Book. Just have a seat and we instructors will greet you at 8:00AM and escort you to the classroom. When you arrive in the classroom, you will be assigned a security badge that you must wear at all times when you are within the training facility. This card will grant access through the Phase 3 and Phase 2 employee entrances. Instructors will brief the students with total housekeeping rules and policies.

Badges RLI Tucker, GA is a secured facility. Ricoh employees are required to bring their assigned identity badge. New hires and dealer affiliated employees will be issued temporary access badges and will be required to return them on the last day of training. We are all required to wear and display our badges at all times while in the education facility for the duration of the training event. Class Procedures Class day begins at 8:00 am, unless otherwise noted. One hour is allowed for lunch. Network / Internet access will be via Wi-Fi on your Laptop. If this is an issue, please contact instructor prior to class. Tools and materials may be left in the classroom overnight at your own risk. At the end of each day please clean up the classroom and lab areas placing trash and recyclables in their proper containers. Also, ensure all tools are accounted for and properly stored. Please do not leave laptops or valuables in the classroom overnight.

Dress Code During training, all students are required to dress in a neat and professional manner. Business casual attire should be worn during normal business hours. Denim jeans are not allowed. Ricoh employees, please refer to the Corporate Dress Code Policy.

Meals RLI Tucker, GA does not provide lunch nor have Cafeteria services - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals.

For your convenience, you can also order online from Jason’s Deli from the link you will receive in your email. All major Credit Cards accepted. They will deliver to RLI Tucker, GA. Your Instructor will provide instructions on how to order during the morning of your first day of class. Your order must be placed no later than 10:00am. Occasionally, on Wednesdays, we have an external limited Buffett service brought into our break room. Cash as well as Cards are accepted and the lunch buffet menu will be shared on Monday.

There are other restaurants available within driving distance but not walking distance (please read “Restaurants” section). Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch. Our break/lunchroom is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and coffeemaker for students’ use. Vending machines with beverages and snacks are located in and next to the break room.

Cell Phones In the State of Georgia, it is against the law to hold/handle/use any hand-held device while driving (incl. initiating/receiving phone calls, sending/receiving text messages, accessing e-mails, social media, Internet, etc.), however, the use of hands-free devices is allowed. We strongly encourage viewing the full policy as the law is strictly enforced: GA Hands-Free Law. Also, please note it is against RICOH policy to drive while using your cell phone without a hands-free set. In class, cell phones may be left on silent mode or turned off. We suggest you change your outgoing voicemail greeting to reflect that you’re in training and provide an alternate service contact.

Parking is available at the front and sides of the building. Please do not use parking spots marked “Visitors”. There’s plenty of space around the building.

rental cars which are available from all major rental companies. Please book in advance to your

The Sonesta Gwinnett Place will provide daily shuttle service to/from RLI Tucker. Departure time in the mornings is 7:15am; please arrive at the lobby no later than 7:10am. The shuttle will pick up students at RLI Tucker at 4:30pm.

On the final day of class, guests of the Sonesta Gwinnett Place will be provided with transportation from RLI Tucker to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Badges RLI Orlando, FL is a secured facility. Ricoh employees are required to bring their assigned identity badge. New hires and dealer affiliated employees will be issued temporary access badges and will be required to return them on the last day of training. We are all required to wear and display our badges at all times while in the education facility for the duration of the training event.

In order to gain entry to the appropriate areas equipped with badge-reader doors you will be required to use your badge. What to Bring to Class

● 32 GB flash drive for Fiery classes

● Instructor’s “Welcome” email might include additional requirements for your specific class

● TAS specific courses, the instructor will email items needed. You will need your computer.

If traveling by air, do not bring your tools, it is not necessary. RLI Orlando, FL Training Center will provide them. Technology classes such as Scanning, Printing, etc. do not require tools. Contact instructor if there are any questions about what you need.

Class Procedures Class day begins at 8:00 am, unless otherwise noted. We will take a one hour lunch break and finish up between 4:00 and 5:00 pm except for the last day of class. Network / Internet access will be via Wi-Fi on your Laptop. If this is an issue, please contact instructor prior to class. Tools and materials may be left in the classroom overnight at your own risk. At the end of each day please clean up the classroom and lab areas placing trash and recyclables in their proper containers. Also, ensure all tools are accounted for and properly stored. Please do not leave laptops or valuables in the classroom overnight.

Dress Code During training, all students are required to dress in a neat and professional manner. Business casual attire should be worn during normal business hours. Denim jeans are not allowed. Ricoh employees, please refer to the Corporate Dress Code Policy.

Meals RLI Orlando does not provide lunch - it is the students’ responsibility to procure their own meals. Your instructor can provide you more information on local restaurants, for your convenience, and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding lunch.

There is a NY Deli located on the first floor of the building next door to us. (Bring an umbrella.) Cash and credit cards are both accepted. There is also a Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, Subway, Applebee’s, Nature’s Table, etc… within a mile of the Training Center.

Cell Phones In the State of Florida, it is against the law to text message while driving although using a cell phone is not prohibited. Also, please note it is against RICOH policy to drive while using your cell phone without a hands-free set. In class, cell phones may be left on silent mode or turned off.

We suggest you change your outgoing voicemail greeting to reflect that you’re in training and provide an alternate service contact.

Emergency Closings or Delayed Openings During a local emergency or severe weather conditions, you should check with your instructor for information concerning cancellations or delayed openings. Your instructor will email you the status of the class. Always use your best judgment and common sense.

Smoking All Ricoh facilities are non-smoking. You may smoke outside the building in designated “Smoking Areas” only (E-Cigarette included). Please don’t litter. Thank you for your cooperation!

Airport Information Fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO). Distance to our primary hotel (Marriott Residence Inn) is approximately 30 miles. There’s no hotel shuttle service from the airport. We recommend that you take a taxi to and from the airport and RLI Orlando, FL.

The Marriott Residence Inn will provide daily shuttle service to/from RLI Orlando. This must be prearranged with Residence Inn by the student ahead of time.

A full-service cafeteria is located in Building 010. See the included MAP section and map of site in the Appendix. Internet access will be via Wi-Fi on your Laptop. Most books and materials may be left in the classroom overnight, provided that no other class will be using your room; however, please be certain all such materials are placed on the tables so that janitorial staff will not remove as trash. At the end of each day please clean up the classroom and lab areas placing trash and recyclables in their proper containers. Also, ensure all tools are accounted for and properly stored. Do NOT leave CONFIDENTIAL materials overnight in the classrooms.

Emergency Closings or Delayed Openings During a local emergency or severe weather conditions, you should first call IBM Boulder (RLI Boulder) at 303-924-6300 for official information pertaining to the IBM Boulder location. A recording on this number will provide the location's current status. The number is capable of handling multiple, simultaneous calls. Hearing impaired employees should call 303-924-4023 to reach a TDD telephone. Note: if you are unable to call the IBM Boulder location, you should monitor television stations KCNC Ch. 4 and KUSA Ch. 9 and radio stations KBOL 1490 am, KOA 850 am, or KLMO 1060 am.

Smoking All RLI Boulder facilities are "No Smoking Permitted" buildings. You may smoke outside the building in designated “Smoking Areas” only (E-Cigarette included). Thank you for your cooperation!

Airport Information Fly into Denver International Airport (DEN).

Upon exiting the aircraft, follow all signs towards Baggage Claim which should direct you to the lower levels where you will board an automated underground transport system (about two miles long) in order to be transported to the Main Terminal. Make sure you know in advance if your baggage will be in the East or West side.

Class Evaluation Forms You are the MOST IMPORTANT source of feedback the Education Department has about our classes. You will be asked to complete an online training evaluation on the last day class. Emergencies, Personal A personal emergency that will impact your ability to attend class, i.e., accident or illness, must be reported to your instructor during class hours. After-hours, please contact the Service Education Manager or Coordinator. See Contacts (above). Emergency Numbers To summon aid within the Education Department for emergencies, dial ext. 9-911. This is an internal emergency number and will summons help from within the emergency response teams located at the IBM facility. Clearly state your name, location, and the nature of the problem.

Emergency Power Off (Labs) The red Emergency Power Off buttons are located in the raised floor classroom near the exits. Become familiar with their exact location. Fire Alarm Procedure - Exiting the Building

• Take badges and other personal items (coats, keys, purses, etc.) with you. Badges will be required for re-entry.

• Site Security and or the Emergency Response Team (outside agencies) will conduct building searches and provide assistance to ensure evacuation of the building.

• Report if anything unusual was noted during an evacuation, i.e., smoke, odors, etc. to Site Security or the Emergency Response Team.

• Do not re-enter the building until the "All Clear" has been given by Security or the Emergency Response Team.

Assemble at a pre-designated area outside of the building or other safe area of refuge, keeping a safe distance from the building and not obstructing arriving emergency equipment. A count of all employees, visitors, contractors, or other persons known to have been in the building will be taken to determine if anyone is missing. A report of this status should immediately be given to the arriving emergency personnel.

All Clear

• When "All Clear" signal is given by Site security, assist in returning to the building.

• Inform and provide assistance to those employees in need.

Minor Emergency Procedure: In certain emergency conditions (for example, a total power outage or severe weather) you might be directed to leave the premises. Climate Boulder is located at an elevation of 5000+ feet at the foot of the mountains and is considered a semi-arid desert. Please be aware that can sometimes cause problems for those unaccustomed to these conditions in the form of shortness of breath due to the limited oxygen and a persistent need for water. Also, when you venture into the mountains you will find that the weather can change drastically on a moment’s notice. Please plan your attire accordingly.

Colorado Motor Vehicle Laws During your visit please be aware of the Colorado Motor Vehicle Laws Speed Limit; Observe all posted speed limits, especially school zones (fines doubled). Right Turn on Red; (except where otherwise posted) Colorado law permits right turns on red after stopping and yielding the right of way to pedestrians, vehicles, and bicycles. Seat Belts; All front-seat passengers are required to wear seat belts. School Bus Law; Colorado law requires that a vehicle approaching a school bus that has extended its Stop Flag must not pass the bus in either direction. Driving under the Influence (DUI); Driving under the influence, BAC .08, is a misdemeanor offense and carries a major fine, an overnight jail stay, and a community service obligation. Text Messaging; It is against the law to text message while driving a motor vehicle.

Credit Union/ATM There is a branch office of the Premier Members Credit Union in the front hallway of Building 001, near the main lobby. The Credit Union has an ATM available for you to get cash on site. There is also another ATM located in the hallway near the exit of the Cafeteria.
