Greeting Brethren,

I hope this message finds all of you in good health and wellness. February

was another busy month for the lodge. Aside from our monthly stated

meeting, we had a very enjoyable Sweethearts and Widows dinner on the 14th

of February. I would like to thank all the brothers who helped make the event

a successful one.

As I previously mentioned our combined Lodge picnic with Hanford Lodge

was scheduled for June 15. That event has been moved to June 8 at Heritage

Park in Lemoore. Bowling night is scheduled for July 20 and our Camping

trip at Lake Millerton is from October 11-13.

I also want to update you on our Investment Account. As I mentioned in the

trestleboard last month, we are working with Edward Jones to get access to

our accounts. We now have most of our accounts being managed by them.

We ran into a couple of issues with 2 of our accounts but we are in the

process on getting access to them.

Congratulations to Brother Christian Datu on being passed to the Second

Degree of Freemasonry. He also did an outstanding job on giving the long

form proficiency of the First Degree. During that same night Brother Paul

Jones also gave his First-Degree proficiency and did an outstanding job as

well.

In closing I would like to leave you with this quote “When you were born

you cried while the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when

you die, the world cries while you rejoice.”

I’ve seen our lodge improve with time, we are a team and it’s our responsibility to make things happen. I invite ALL BRETHREN to attend meetings and ceremonies.

We have learned our craft from PM’s and brothers, young and old. Our PM’s have a wealth of knowledge and are honed in the craft.

For all officers this year, if in anyway possible, make the practices. The Officers Coach plans the event for us and is there to help us master the Craft; Thank you Worshipful Herme, I appreciate all you have done for Welcome Lodge.

We have a large building and it’s hard to maintain. Each and everyone who utilizes the lodge must help maintain it.

I have cleaning supplies set aside in the table storage area. Bags are in the bottom drawer in the kitchen. If you spill or drop food and/or make a mess, please clean it up. If you are going to use the Lodge, and you are not scheduled for it, please contact me first. We have rentals coming in and out that take priority. I appreciate your help in keeping the lodge clean.
