Fundraise for Animal Charity The county branch of a national animal charity is seeking fundraising supporters to help out with store collections and promotional

activities at local events or to identify fundraising opportunities and sponsorship.

Can you spare 90 minutes a week? You only need to spare 90 minutes once a week to help a huge difference to elderly housebound people. You will need your own car to deliver hot meals around the Bromyard area. No car? Then help with weekly lunch club.

Help children enjoy the national summer reading challenge being run at Bromyard Library on Saturdays during the summer school holidays. Assist with registration, issuing joining packs, selecting books and taking an interest in what they’ve been reading.

Use your parenting experience to help families with

young children who are struggling to cope with post-natal illness, isolation, bereavement, disability and much more. A little emotional and practical help goes a long way. Training course starting in May.

Drivers Wanted Volunteer drivers with own cars needed to take elderly or infirm people to the doctors, dentist and hospital or for shopping, visiting the library and relatives etc. Mileage allowance paid. Even a few odd hours now and again would make a great difference.

The British Red Cross would like to find someone to help with

servicing wheelchairs and equipment held in the medical

loan department in Bromyard.

OFFICE HELP WANTED

A community association in the south of the city needs help in its office with telephone and reception work and taking bookings. Help also required for community events with setting up, refreshments etc.

WANT TO KEEP FIT?

Then run the tower tours at Hereford Cathedral and accompany visitors up and down the 218 steps. Even if you could spare just a few days a year, that would be very welcome.
