Process• For my experiment I chose the picture at the top as my

magazine cover to try and copy or make something similar to that. The bottom picture is my own make and looks very similar. I tried to get all the same font for the bits of text around the front cover and I think the text is very similar between both of them.

• The only difference was the fish. It was hard to find the correct fish or even a fish in that position so that’ why there’s a different fish and a different angle of it.

• When choosing the texts I used similar to the one on the front cover. When choosing the font and text size I found something similar and worked out pretty well.

Process• For my experiment I chose a Pokémon magazine to try and

copy as much as possible. I tried to get the background the same by getting a similar colour but couldn’t do the chequered part. I got the Pokémon images off the internet and found the same ones used on the main cover.

• I tried to get all the text fonts and sizes the same but was very difficult. So I found fonts that were similar and now look decent for what I could find. Some of the shapes used on the front cover I couldn’t find so yet again I used something similar and somehow worked quite well. All the colours are the same except some colours I couldn’t quit perfect.

• The logo is placed the same as well as the Pokémon. I tried to also position everything the same which I think I achieved pretty well.

• In my opinion I think I didn't do too bad, it’s only if I knew some tools that would make it better.

Reflection• What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product?

– I would include pictures of the topic I’m doing my magazine on.– I would also include a lot of colours, especially bright colours because it would then grab more

attention in the shops.– I will include the name of the product / topic as the masthead and information about the rumours

and stories that are talked about in the actual magazine. – Might include a fact or two so people can feel interested in the magazine just fro the front cover. – The front cover is meant to grab attention from people going around in the shops and I will need to

make it bright and full of information so people buy it.
