Process

The first thing I did was open Adobe Premiere Pro. I then imported the recording I did of me explaining my morning routine. I placed the audio into the audio 1 section because it would be the main sound. Then next thing I did was use the razor tool to cut the audio into section from each part of the routine so I could fill the gaps with sound effects making it more interesting.

Process

I used YouTube to find an introduction which includes the mention of the morning routine. I then downloaded it using the YouTube converter and imported it into my premiere pro document. I then used the next audio section to place it in at the beginning. When I make my final piece I will include an introduction and ending similar to this one.

The next thing I did was find a short and simple sound effect from YouTube which I then downloaded. I imported it into my document and placed it at the end of each morning routine part, this split them up and added more sound.

Process

I used YouTube again to find a sound effect of an audience laughing. Once I had found one that wasnt to long I imported it into my document and placed it near the end of the project. Doing this adds some humour which is what I want to do in my final product.

The last thing I did was copy and paste the intro at the end so I could use it as an outro. On my final product I will be using a different beginning to the ending because it will give more detail and make it sound more unique.

ReflectionWhat elements of your experiments will you include in your final product?

When I start to make my final product I will use the same strategy of using a beginning and an end sound. This gives the audience an idea as to when the audio has finished. I will also use similar sound effects to add a sense of humour and interest. I think that when I start to record the final product I need to plan out where the sound effects are going to be therefore I can leave a pause in the recording to make it easier to edit. I will also need to plan what I'm going to say so there wont be any unnecessary gaps and fillers.
