Process

The difference between both photos is an effect called Rack Focus. I used the Blur Tool and this blurs out stuff in the picture. In this photo I blurred out the trees surrounding the bears and shows that they are the main part of the photo. With rack focus there is more attention now to the bears because you can barely see the trees or the features of the trees.

I added a slight bit of brightness to it to make the bears stand out a bit more.

ProcessThe difference between both photos are the effects used to make it look brighter, more sketchy and comical. I used the tools; dodge tool, sharpen tool and blur tool. The dodge tool as said before makes parts of the picture brighter and make it have a better look. The blur tool does the obvious and blurs out certain things in the picture depends what you blur. Finally the sharpen tool is a tool that it used on the lion and cat. It changes from the original to the edited in a comical and sketchy fashion. The edited photo looks better than the original because it looks brighter and looks like something is above it, showing no light at the front of the photo.

Process

The difference between both photos is that I've used to effects and they are both called rack focus and dodge tool. The rack focus is used with the blur tool and the dodge tool makes things brighter. From the original photo it’s dark and dull, the dodge tool brings the brightness of the picture up and looks better and shows off the birds features better. The rack focus is slightly used on the grass and the bushes in the top left. I didn’t use it too much because the surroundings are nice and don’t need to be left out of the picture or just blurred out.

Reflection

• What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product?– In my final product I will use effects on Photoshop to make my pictures better

or change it if something wrong on the photo. For example I’ll use the effect rack focus to blur out some of the parts in the picture. I will also use the tool called the dodge tool which adds brightness to the picture if my final photographs are too dark. If I take a picture that isn’t good enough, hopefully I can edit it so it looks better. For example if it’s dark and it’s fuzzy hopefully some kind of tool can change it so it doesn't have that feature in the photo.

– When I take photos, I will take it more than once just in case it’s blurry or doesn’t look good enough as the others that I took.
