Creating a Tab

The ability to add custom tabs in Viewpoint is one step toward customizing the standard Viewpoint

forms to fit your company’s needs.

This guide covers:

• How to create a custom tab in a standard Viewpoint form

Creating a Custom Tab

1. Log into Viewpoint and open form you wish to add the custom tab to. In our example we will

use the JC Job Master. Figure A.

2. From the Tools menu select Form Properties.

3. Select the Tab Pages tab. Figure B.

4. Click the Add button.

5. Enter the name of your new Custom Tab in the Tab Title field and click OK. Figure C.

6. (Optional) Using the arrow keys you can move the custom tab to a desired location.

7. Click Close exit out of the Form Properties form.

8. The form reloads to display the form with your new custom tab. Figure D.

Note: The custom tab is blank by default. You can now add custom fields to the tab or link a UD table to
