A Letter from USU Moabs Director
Dr. Sam Sturman
Technology is letting students attend
colleges from nearly every location imaginable.
So why would a student want to earn a degree
living in Moab? To me that is obvious:
location, location, and location.
If you are an out of state student you payinstate tuition to attend Utah State
University Moab.
You have access to world class hiking, mountain biking, rafting, sightseeing,
motorcycling, 4-wheeling, winter cross
country skiing, and exploring.
Students have access to two national parks along with thousands of square milesof public lands to explore. That is why I have chosen to work in Moab: location,
location, and location.
You get to live in one of the most spectacular locations on earth. USU Moab offers the following degrees in this community:
3 pre-associate degrees
14 bachelors 12 masters 1 doctorate 6 minors Endorsements and Certificates
With more on the way!
If you love the out of doors then USU Moab is your only choice. I hope this
packet will help you become a student attending Utah Stat University at the Moab
