This section describes the Device view and subviews available for models of the US RoControl devices in SPECTRUM.

vice views use icons and labels to represent the odeled device and its components, such as odules, ports, and applications. There are two vice views for the HubUSRMP model type, terface Device view and Chassis Device view. ese views are described below.

terface Device Viewcess: From the Icon Subviews menu for the Devicen, select Device > Interface .

is view provides dynamic configuration and rformance information for each of the device’s rial/network I/O ports, which are represented Interface icons in the bottom panel of the view, shown in Figure 2. The middle panel of the w also displays a Device icon, which lets you

Performance Views

This section provides brief descriptions of the Performance views available for the USPool/Total Control devices in SPECTRUM.

rformance views display performance statistics terms of a set of transmission attributes, e.g., ll rates, frame rates, % error, etc. A typical view shown in Figure 8. The instantaneous ndition of each transmission attribute is corded in a graph. The statistical information each attribute is presented in the adjacent

ble.

nerally, you determine performance at the vice level through Performance views accessed m the Device and Application icons. You termine performance at the port/interface level rough Performance views accessed from terface icons.

r more information on Performance views, refer the SPECTRUM Views documentation.

e following paragraphs list the performance tributes displayed for each Performance view pported by this management module.

Model Information Views

This section provides a brief description of the Model Information views available for mModem Pool/Total Control devices in SPECTRUM.

odel Information views provide descriptive and nfiguration information about SPECTRUM odels of individual devices, interfaces, and plications. Figure 10 shows an example of the odel Information view accessed from the Icon bviews menu for the Device icon. Model formation views are also available for each of e Interface icons in the Interface Device and terface Device Topology views, and for each of e Application icons in the Application view. though these views may vary slightly depending the particular entity being modeled, their basic out and content are similar for most ECTRUM management modules. Therefore, ese views are described in more detail in the ECTRUM Views documentation.
