Uponor Return Temperature Limiter

1
Uponor East Europe Uponor return temperature limiter (Art. Nr.: 1013005) The most common application of the return temperature limiter is in the low-temperature range, with combined underfloor-element/radiator heating systems, for the temperature control of smaller underfloor heating systems covering an area of up to 15 m 2 . The return temperature limiter is also suitable for use in combined wall/radiator heating systems. The return temperature limiter regulates the return temperature of the underfloor heating system, functioning in a similar way to a thermostat valve to control room temperature. The return temperature limiter allows the target temperature (e.g. the return temperature for the underfloor heating system) to be limited within a range of 25 °C to 65 °C. The target temperature setting is factory adjusted to a maximum of 50 °C. The return temperature limiter functions automatically and without a power supply. Its function is based on the transfer of heat from the flowing medium to a specially designed thermostatic sensor. The setting corresponds to the return temperature in the underfloor heating system. If the return temperature in the underfloor heating system exceeds the preset target temperature setting, the valve shuts. The valve does not reopen until the return temperature has once more dropped to below the preset target value. Note that the default supply temperature of the heating system must be suitable for the Underfloor system being used, and that a maximum temperature limiter should be fitted. The supply temperature for an underfloor heating system is limited, according to EN 1264, to a maximum of 55 °C. The indications of the screed and/or wall plaster supplier should also be taken into account. The use of the return temperature limiter as a room thermostat for a radiant heating system does not conform to paragraph 12 of the EnEV, which establishes standards for the use of automatic devices for room-temperature control. Return temperature limiter For regulating the return temperature of smaller Underfloor heating systems (up to 15 m2). Consisting of cover panel (white), fast-action ventilator and thermostat for return temperature limiting between 25 °C and 65 °C. The return temperature limit is factory-adjusted to approx. 50 °C. Permitted operating pressure: max. 10 bar kv-value: 0,45 Connections: 3/4 Euro-cone Dimensions (H x W x D): 150 x 122 x 65 mm Item No.: 1013005
