The rocket growth of smartphones accelerated the adoption of mobile
internet, and netizens now access the internet through their mobile
devices more than their PCs. Android has dramatically outsold its various
operating system competitors globally, making it a major driving force
according to industry consensus and research. Not surprisingly UCWeb
customers are also following this trend with more than 100 million Android
users as of November 2012, making UC Browser the most popular
browser on Android devices worldwide.
Based on insights gained from industry trends and its 100 million Android
users worldwide, UCWeb collaborated with Data Center of China Internet
(DCCI) to explore user behavior, access types, user demographics, usage
scenarios and more on the Android platform.
