DavitsBased in Kristiansand, Norway, and formerly known as Hydralift, TTS Marine AS continues its proud history of expertise as maker of high quality marine cranes for over 40 years.

The company is now also focused on marine servicing and the supply of original spare parts – supporting approximately 10,000 delivered cranes – as well as a comprehensive range of conversions capabilities.

In addition to its experience serving the marine cranes market, TTS Marine AS designs and supplies rescue-boat and fender davits, winch bollards, and service platforms.

Also, the expert servicing of equipment designed and supplied by Hydralift, Hydralift Marine, Maritime Hydraulic, MH Hydralift, and Norlift is our responsibility as is the stock of genuine spare parts for equipment originally manufactured by any of those brands.

TTS Marine AS

Davit survey system

Recognizing recent developments in the rules and regulations surrounding the maintenance and inspection of launching appliances for life saving equipment, we have developed a survey network to monitor the compliance of our increasing number of rescue-boat davit deliveries.

We have also established close cooperation with other makers of life saving appliances such as MOB boats and release gear, enabling us to survey this equipment in accordance with the latest regulations.

It is the task of our survey coordinator to:

• Schedule surveys, as well as keep track of spare part requirements.

• Work closely with both the spare parts and service departments so that parts can be quickly dispatched and repairs effected where needed.

TTS has developed and patented a revolutionary mooring system that replaces mooring winches, capstans and wrapping drums as well as the standard bollards conventionally used for mooring. The system makes a saving on deck space and, more significantly, mooring operations are made easier and safer than with the standard methods currently available. The system is available in hydraulic and electric versions.

Basic features• One-man operated

• Direct mooring without the use of stoppers

• Optimal and safe control during mooring

• Controlled by foot pedal

• Integrated emergency stop and flexible cable connection

• Stepless speed control with high light line speed

• Failsafe brakes, adjusted to approximately 60% of the MBL of the rope

• Automatic reduction of line speed when load is increased

• Low noise during operation

• Self-lubricating bearings for low maintenance

• Compact, clean and water-resistant design.

Standard equipment• Complete winch bollard with

necessary equipment to ensure safe operation

• Frequency converter with control unit (electrical version)

• Prepared for connection to the vessel’s ring line system or HPU (hydraulic version)

• Foundation prepared for welding to the vessel’s main deck structure

• Entire steel structure made of certified steel and sandblasted to Sa 2.5 prior to painting

• Exterior paintwork: top quality, two-component epoxy/acrylic paint of highest marine standard. Colour according to owner’s choice

• Full set of operating manuals and spare parts list

• Optional pipe hatch; rope; storage drums; HPU; radio control etc, on request.

Service platformsTTS has designed a range of platforms for use in routine service work and installation, significantly including tunnelling work for the mining industries. The platforms all feature double or triple-telescopic booms and are built with strong and rigid support. Over 2,800 TTS service platforms have been delivered to customers around the world, all supplied ready for connection to the customers‘ hydraulic system.

The platform rangeThe SP2 series of service platforms forms the mainstay of the TTS range, that comprises various versions, all with double telescopic booms and tripod boom suspension (2 boom lift/swing cylinders), giving an exceptionally rigid support to the boom.

The SP20 models are mainly used for charging, whereas the SP25, with its large baskets, is designed for both service and safety work.

The SP15 is a smaller, lighter platform with a double telescopic boom controlled by a boom tilt cylinder and boom swing cylinder.

A larger service platform, the SP3 series is the most extended of the TTS range of platforms.

Recent deliveries include a new platform, SP34, to a Swedish mining company with a service boom designed for handling large ventilation fans in mines.

ConnectionAll SP platforms are delivered ready for connection to the customer’s hydraulic system.

All hydraulic circuits are fitted with safety valves for protection in the event of

pressure loss; the main control valve is equipped with an emergency shut off valve and safety relief valve.

DocumentationTTS Marine AS uses the classification society, Inspecta Sweden AB for service platform classification, although other bodies can be used upon customer request.

All TTS service platforms are supplied with standard instruction/service manual and spare parts list.
