I was 16 when I
realized I loved
advertising and
marketinghttps://www.flickr.com/photos/41463627@N05/15155362799
My art teacher
suggested graphic design. Then I
worked at a print shop.

I chose to work in a kitchen to make money
but was unhappy. Now I
realize I am happiest when I
am a graphic designer. Photo Taken by Tori Hopp
Having a professionally
varied background
means I have experience in
situations many other
may not.Photo by Tori Hopp
I started out by messing around in
Photoshop and moved to InDesign. I
have 10 years of experience
with these programs.

I wish I was better at
drawing. I try to sketch
daily to work on it. I know I can meet this
goal. Photo by Tori Hopp
Working in a print shop also taught
me customer service skills and how to break out of
my shell.Photo by Tori Hopp
Now working for BH Media I have learned
that team work is what
creates award winning ideas.

I also spend my free time helping plan
the local Relay for Life event. The event is
near and dear to me. Photo by Tori Hopp
This is the first thing I designed at
the print shop. It was
a great learning
experience.Photo by Tori Hopp
I am also very proud of the short films I have helped create. They show I can be
create in different media.

I would love to be able to incorporate my love of
graphic design into my love of editing.
Success, to me, is doing
what you love
everyday. It can’t be
measured by money.
