I was 16 when I

realized I loved

My art teacher

suggested graphic design. Then I

worked at a print shop.


After high school I

worked in a kitchen

decorating cakes

Working in the kitchen taught me

to work under stress

Now I work for a

newspaper. I love the fast paced nature

and the networking.


I chose to work in a kitchen to make money

but was unhappy. Now I

realize I am happiest when I

I started out by messing around in

Photoshop and moved to InDesign. I

have 10 years of experience

with these programs.

I wish I was better at

drawing. I try to sketch

daily to work on it. I know I can meet this

I also love to edit

videos and currently help edit

me customer service skills and how to break out of

Now working for BH Media I have learned

that team work is what

creates award winning ideas.

Being a graphic

designer has pushed me to be less

shy and go after my dreams.
