Mark your calendars for November 6 th -7 th for this year’s fall rally. At the beginning of the school year I will be in touch with all of you to get reports on club attendance and dues. approaching and I hope that you all are enjoying your last few weeks of freedom. With the approaching school year comes the approaching Key Club year. We have Fall Rally all figured out for this year, and let me tell you, it is not to be missed. Mark your calendars for November 6th-7th for this year’s fall rally. At the beginning of the school year I will be in touch with all of you to get reports on club attendance and dues. Please remember to continue to emphasize membership growth.

Key Club Week gives you the opportunity to expose Key Club to your community. Each day places an emphasis on service, to promote Key Club within our homes, schools and communities and to make Key Club a household name. Do your part to make sure Key Club Week—November 1st–5th—starts Kiwanis Family Month with a bang. Think of Key Club week like Homecoming week. Every day has a new theme, and each theme is related to Key Club. Some ideas are, t-shirt day, service day, crazy hat day etc. Throughout the week there should be wacky fundraisers for a common goal such as Kids Against Hunger. Some ideas for this fundraiser may be turning your principle into a human sundae, or selling cookies, or even selling custom bracelets. The sky is the limit, make Key Club Week unique in your very own way!

Also, start meeting with your fellow officers to discuss meeting ideas and goals. BE excited! You are the top dog at your Key Club!

Dues
It is early, but never too early to start thinking about dues. It is very important that your club pays your dues correctly and on time. Keep a record of how many people have paid, and keep track of that money. Failure to collect and send dues may result in your club being suspended or disbanded. Please mark your calendars for November 30th, this is when dues are due.
Vice Presidents:Key Club is all about teamwork and you play a vital role in that motive. As Vice Presidents, you will help organize committees and you will support the president.
New Members:Please remember to always, always, always encourage new people to join Key Club. Key Club is always growing and the Minn-Dak district is looking for a 5% increase in members! We can reach this goal! Some tips to gaining new members: Always advertise, posters, person to person, the morning news show. All are beneficial. Bring food to your meetings; you never know which hungry by-standers are lurking outside your room. Make new membership a major goal for your club and it will be extremely beneficial.
