TILED DATA RECONSTRUCTION AND CORRECTION

INTRODUCTIONWhen a large biological specimen
has to be pictured in high resolution, it must be done in tiles.
Tiles must be fit or stitched together to form one image.
Overlap between each tile and its neighbors.

OLYMPUS Data Conversion
Accurately stitch multiple images
Correct the brightness differences across the image

BIO-FORMAT IMPORTER
Bio-format Importer is a plugIn to load images into Fiji or ImageJ.
Opens proprietary formats that contains batches of images and converts into OME data model.

OLYMPUS DATA CONVERSIONApproach: A custom plugIn that
calls the Bio-formats Importer PlugIn
The custom plugIn launches the Bio-format importer to select and read the images
Converts and saves images in .tiff format

STITCHING OF IMAGESStitching PlugIn is used to
reconstruct big images from arbitrary number of tiled input images.
Stitching has two plugIns:1.Pairwise stitching2.Grid/Collection stitching

STITCHING OF IMAGESPairwise stitching –Stitches, loads
two images loads and saves to hard disk.
Grid/collection stitching- Stitches an arbitrary collection or grid images(2d,3d,4d,5d) of same type .
