Hosting an AFS student is a way to travel from the comfort of home. Experience a new culture, food and language and in turn welcome a young person looking to learn more about New Zealand and experience family life here in Aotearoa.

Please note this booklet is correct at date of publication, however students are always being claimed by host families, so get in quick if you want to host!

AFS families come from all walks of life, mum, dad and kids, just dad and kids, nana and granddad, those who don’t have children, same sex couples etc.______________________________________________________________________
