ThermaSplint

The ThermaSplint Splinting Pan shall be used as areservior for heating thermal plastics used for splinting.

Model TS-1 is appropriate in a small medical facility. Theunit has an inner tank 19-1/4"L x 12"W x 5"D which canhold approximately 5 gallons of melted thermal plastic.

Model TS-2 is appropriate in a larger medical facility. Theunit has an inner tank 24-3/4"L x 19-3/4"W x 5"D which can hold approximately 10 gallons of meltedthermal plastic.

The pan is constructed of heavy duty stainless steel withdouble wall insulation. This contributes to a long life of trouble-free energy efficient operations. A separate rack with handles is included for the easy removal of the thermal plastic.

Temperature control includes an easy read digital thermometer and thermostat. These features provide the healthcare professional a 100º F to 185º F temperaturerange to handle most splinting materials. A safety shut-offfeature turns off the heating when the temperature reaches190ºF. Other features include an illuminated on and offswitch to easily determine if the unit is in operation. A hinged doublewalled top lid also assists in maintainingthe temperature.

Easy clean up features include round bottom edges and a 1/2" NPT male drain outlet assembly operated with a ball valve.

GUIDE SPECIFICATIONS

Provide a ThermaSplint Splinting Pan to provide the healthcare professional a reservior for heating thermal plastic forsplinting. A smaller model TS-1 is available with a 19-1/4"L x 12"W x 5"D inner tank capable of holdingapproximately 5 gallons of melted thermal plastic. A largerTS-2 model is also available with an inner tank of 24-3/4"L x 19-3/4"W x 5"D capable of holding approxi-mately 10 gallons of thermal plastic. The pan is constructedof heavy duty stainless steel. A separate rack with handlesprovides for easy removal of thermal plastic. Temperaturecontrols include a thermometer, thermostat and auto shut offwhen 190ºF is reached. A hinged double walled top lid isprovided. Round bottom edges and a drain contributes foran easy clean up.
