Developed in conjunction with the RNLI and Manufactured by the award winning Jo Bird & Co Ltd in Somerset, England, the ToughStore® SOS700 Mk2 lifebuoy cabinet is built to exacting standards. Each unit is supplied complete with a robust double-sided sponsorship sign measuring 500mm x 630mm for maximum stand-out.

Exposed to the elements, conventional lifebuoys can deteriorate if unprotected, and their lines can become tangled or detached. They are also open to risk of vandalism and theft.

The ToughStore® SOS700 Mk2 lifebuoy cabinet is made from polyethylene for maximum resistance to corrosion and UV rays. Anti-graffiti film with UV block protects the sponsorship sign against vandalism and the elements.

Lifebuoy housings protect the equipment and reduce tampering but purchasing, installing and maintaining a complete system costs a lot more than simply providing a conventional life ring. By offering the housing as a platform for sponsorship these costs are easily recouped.

An integral housing panel displays Coastguard alert advice, warning of legal penalties for tampering, local phone number and grid reference.
