The Preterite TenseSpanish 2, Chapter 2

The Preterite Tense is 1 of 2 past tenses in Spanish. It talks about things that happened once in the past. It is like the English "ed."

CHANCLA VERBSThere are 3 groups of Chancla Verbs: O-U, E-I, and

I-Y. They experience a change only in the "chancla" or the third person singular and plural (él, ella, Ud, ellos, ellas, Uds.) Regular endings apply.
