The worldwide demand for safe and sustainable food is rising and with it the number of producers seeking to demonstrate their commitment to good agricultural practice. But the path towards certified agricultural production can be challenging. To assist producers in their G.A.P. implementation and certification process, GLOBALG.A.P. has established the Farm Assurer program.
Farm Assurers are independent, onsite advisors and consultants who walk producers through the steps necessary to obtain GLOBALG.A.P. Certification. With first-hand knowledge about the GLOBALG.A.P. System and the latest developments in agricul-ture, Farm Assurers use their expertise to make the standard easier to understand and simplify audit preparations.

THE ROLE OF GLOBALG.A.P. FARM ASSURERS
• Train and consult farmers to achieve certification.• Perform pre-audit assessments to help producers
identify any potential issues before their actual audits occur.
• Provide technical resources and consultation to assist producers in their process of achieving GLOBALG.A.P. Standards.
• Connect farmers with GLOBALG.A.P.-approved certification bodies.
• Help producers negotiate better with certification bodies on audit costs.
• Support producers during the official audit procedure as a partner.
• Register farmers and manage their data in the GLOBALG.A.P. Database and collect registration fees.
• Assist farmers to access markets and link them with selected customers in the supply chain.
Farm Assurers pay an annual license fee of EUR 1,550, which covers a range of benefits including:
1. Access to our GLOBALG.A.P. Database and the right to register producers and manage their data.
2. The option for free GLOBALG.A.P. Membership. Enjoy all the benefits of our partnership program! For more details, check out our website and the GLOBALG.A.P. membership booklet.
3. Increased publicity. GLOBALG.A.P. actively promotes Farm Assurers. All Farm Assurers are listed on the GLOBALG.A.P. website with their company logo and contact details.
4. As an exclusive GLOBALG.A.P. partner, you provide your customers with an additional first-class consulting service. This strengthens your customer relationship and builds trust.
5. Annual Farm Assurer training to keep you up-to-date on the latest developments in farm assurance.
6. Qualified Farm Assurers may have the opportunity to work as consultants or trainers on behalf of GLOBALG.A.P.

Once your application and qualifications have been approved, you will be invited to take part in a range of workshops to prepare you for your tasks and responsibilities.
We will upload your profile on the Farm Assurer section of our website. You also get access to the GLOBALG.A.P. Database to register your clients and manage their data.
GLOBALG.A.P. FARM ASSURERS represent a world-class certification system. We are seeking experienced profes-sionals from various agricultural sectors whose expertise reflects the GLOBALG.A.P. brand and vision.
Download the Farm Assurer application kit from our website. This includes the Farm Assurer application form, qualifications profile checklist, license agreement and privacy statement. Fill in the forms, sign the agreements and send them to us for approval.
