The UrbanStone story began in 1993, when in

conjunction with the Engineering Department of the

City of Perth, we developed an exposed aggregate

concrete paving module to resist the highly abrasive

pedestrian traffic experienced in Perth’s Central

Business District.

Our commercial paving quickly expanded into the

residential marketplace with the addition of new

product categories and further extensions to our

range.

Our unique weathering process removes the top layer of concrete to reveal a natural aggregate beneath.

Initially shot blasted and then finely polished to remove 2-3mm, the glazed finish is all style.

Tanyella Exfoliated Bush Hammered Machined Dimension Cut

The Tanyella finish is created using a polyester honing process which subtly reveals aggregate in the pavers face.

The Exfoliated finish is created by using ebracing process to the pavers face to create a subtle textured finish.

We use a shot blasting process which reveals aggregate within the pavers face that adds subtle texture.

The honing process grinds 2-3mm from the pavers surface producing a matte exposed aggregate finish.

The milling process results in a subtle honed texture which just removes the top layer of concrete.
