The Bath MSc isn’t the end of your education; it’s the start of your career
At Bath, we recognise that enhancing your employability is a primary goal for undertaking a Master’s degree.
Our graduates are equipped with the specialist skills and knowledge needed to compete for the very best graduate jobs. Our outstanding record for employability is shown by:
• Our postgraduates noticeably outperform postgraduates nationally
• Our graduates report that they have achieved accelerated promotion, some within only six months of joining their organisations
Our excellent corporate relations mean you have access to business insights both inside and outside the classroom. Networking and engaging with professionals from a wide range of industries helps you to gain an in-depth understanding of the range of career opportunities available and the skills and attributes required.
100% of all School of Management MSc graduates are employed within six months of graduation.*
From day one the career support at Bath is superb. Classes on CV writing or application processes deliver a valuable insight into what companies are actually looking for and help to plan your time in Bath to accumulate the demanded skill set. The visits and talks by industry representatives or alumni who can give precious advice are always very fruitful and prove that the impossible dream is actually more real than you might think as a student.Johannes Helms, MSc Marketing Google, Chicago

I chose the MSc in Sustainability and Management because I am passionate about business sustainability and wanted to further my knowledge in this subject area, and the University of Bath is one of the few universities in the country that offers a course of this kind. On top of this, the excellent rankings and recommendations from friends led me to choose the University of Bath.

I really enjoyed the Future Business Challenge as I had the opportunity to work with an international team and it was very interesting to see how the different companies (IBM, DAI and the Globe Theatre) operate.Joanna Zielinkska, MSc International Management, BMW Graduate Programme, Oxford
The Entrepreneurship Challenge was a fun, small-scale simulation of the real entrepreneurial practice which definitely gave me a deeper insight and raised my interest in entrepreneurial business. One of the guest speakers also offered me an internship opportunity with a business incubator consultancy supporting start-ups. There may be rare occasions where due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances it becomes necessary to make significant changes to a course or to withdraw it or part of it, (e.g. a particular unit/module). Such action could become necessary if for example the following were to occur:
• a key member of staff leaves the University and we are unable to find a suitable replacement (e.g. with the requisite academic knowledge/experience);
• a professional body or Regulator/accreditor requires changes to be made to a course or withdraws their accreditation of a course;
• changes have to be made to reflect legislative changes/requirements;
• changes have to be made to reflect changes in standards set down by relevant regulators and/or in keeping with best practice or developments related to the particular discipline/subject area;
• student feedback clearly indicates that immediate changes be made to a course or unit; or
• unexpected low recruitment to a course or unit/module means it is simply no longer viable or practical to run it.
