Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration invites applications on the prescribed

format for one post of Steno-typist in the pay band of Rs.5910-20200 +Grade pay of Rs.2000/- . The

applications alongwith bank draft of Rs 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) for OBC candidates

and Rs.500/- for General Candidates in favour of the Director Sports, UT Chandigarh should reach

latest by 29th

July, 2011 upto 5.00 PM in the office of Sports Department at Sports Complex, Sector

42, Chandigarh. Applications received thereafter will not be entertained. Applications can be down

Educational & Other Qualifications

I) Bachelors Degree and proficiency in operation of Computer (word processing

and spread sheet) and a speed of 80 words per minutes in Stenography(English) and

speed of 20 words per minutes in transcription the same

AGE as on 1-1-2011

Between 18 to 27 years of age as on the 1st

day of January of the year immediately

preceding the last date fixed for submission of applications. In case of candidate belonging to

SC/ST/OBC upper age relaxable to the extent in accordance with the instructions of the Government

of India / Chandigarh Administration issued from time to time for the same. Upper age relaxable upto

5 years for other departments servants in accordance with the instructions of Govt. of India. Thedepartmental candidates who have rendered at least three years continuous service under Government

may be allowed to compete along with candidates from the Employment Exchange / open market up

to the age of 40 years in the case of General candidates and 45 years in the case of SCs and STs.

General Conditions

Government servants will be considered for interview only if their applications are received

through proper channel. All the eligible candidates will be called for stenography test in the speed

prescribed. Candidates called for interview will have to furnish the self- attested copies of the

certificates/degrees/testimonials etc at the time of Interview.

the pay band of Rs.5910-20200 +(Grade pay of Rs.1900) . The applications alongwith bank draft of
