June 25—Taste Test Challenge: Oreo Edition
Bring your taste buds along and see if you can guess
the flavors of one of America’s favorite cookies.
July 2—Ozobots
Join us as we practice our coding skills and test out
these tiny robots.
July 9—Teen Foodie
Learn how to make PB&J sandwiches from scratch with
Katie from ShopRite.
July 16—T-Shirt Totes
Bring a T-shirt you no longer wear and turn it into a
stylish tote.
July 23—Photo Cubes
Paint or decoupage a wooden photo cube to hold your
favorite pics and notes.
July 30—Teen Foodie
Join Katie from ShopRite and participate in a cooking
competition inspired by Food Network’s “Chopped.”
August 6—Wall Art DIY
Come paint a piece of canvas wall art using painter’s
tape. All materials will be provided.

Each week we will review a new book
and all the previous books. Review Ses-
sions are helpful, but not required in
order to join a team.
Books are available for check-out at
the library! You may check-out one
battle book at a time.
This year we will not have any formal
review sessions with Grades 10-12.
Teams are welcome to use the library as
a meeting place to review.
Battle of the Books is a summer reading competition between 7-9 & 10-12 graders from
libraries throughout Lackawanna County. To participate, grab some friends and sign up as a
team or sign up alone and meet someone new! Read the books assigned to your age group
and then compete against other teams in the county at Marywood University on August 8th.
You must register by July 1st in order to participate!
