What is Agentry Platform?

A collection of software components that provides both a development and

production environments for developing and deploying mobile applications.

These software components are:

Agentry Server

Includes an Administration Tool

Agentry Editor

Agentry Test Environment (ATE)

Agentry Client

Installed on mobile devices Mobile Suite Add-on Component (for pre-

packaged applications)

Each component can be installed and

configured independently

Roles of Agentry Software Components

Agentry ServerResponsible for synchronizing data between the back end

system and the Agentry Clients. It also distributes the application data, or

definitions published to it from theAgentry Editor.

Development & Production versions

Agentry EditorThe primary development tool (4GLpoint and click). Provided

as a plug-in to the Eclipse platform.

Agentry Test EnvironmentDevelopment component that mimics the supported

platforms (is not emulator). Used for development and unit testing; allows for real-

time view into production data of client and can be used to diagnose issues with

production server.

Agentry ClientsDifferent executable running on the different supported devices

platforms

Agentry GUI Server AdminGraphical Application for Agentry Servers

The Agentry Server in the production environment can be clustered
