With more than 200 members, the Club des Mécènes supports the mission of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence :

TO MAKE OPERA A LIVING ART

by fostering opera creation and professional integration of young artists,

by making opera more accessible,

by encouraging the circulation of works and young artists.

For several years now the support from corporate and individual sponsors has been key to the Festival’s success, as it represents 19 % of its budget. Each donation is important since it makes a concrete contribution to our mission.

€ 900 Your donation enables 10 young people to participate in an annual programme of artistic practice dedicated to discovering the different jobs associated with opera.

€ 1 700 Your donation enables 8 young people under 30 to subscribe to the opera discovery programme : opera on

( sessions to present operatic works, artistic practice workshops, visits to set and costume production workshops, access to the best seats at a flat-rate price of €15 ).

€ 3 500 Your donation enables 10 visually impaired people to attend an audio described performance.

€ 5 000

Your donation finances the fee paid to a young soloist for one of the performances at the Théâtre de l’Archevêché or the services of a language coach to assist performers during rehearsals for an opera production.

€ 10 000

Your donation is used totrain 20 young performers attending a one-week chamber music residency under the auspices of the Academy.
