I think everyone was in agreement that the production of Cinderella & Rockerfella this week was a
tremendous success. The standard of singing, dancing and acting was amazing and as I said just shows
the level of talent we have here at St Oswalds. Thank you to all those who helped out with the
performance. I think the enjoyment on the childrens faces was plain to see for everyone and the
picture below sums it up well. The rest of the pictures will be on the Magical Memories CD-ROM.

The new EYFS adventure trail has now
been installed. This has been part
funded by the PTA and a successful
Awards for All Lottery bid. The
adventure trail has been designed by
Mrs Lewis and the early years team
specifically for the development of
the childrens gross motor skills and
will be a key part of our Early Years
outdoor provision, as well as available
for the children to use at playtimes
and lunchtimes. Please note that the
both the adventure trails on the field

before school and that there is no
school supervision after 3:15pm.
School will not be liable for any
injuries sustained after this time.

We were invited to the Cheshire
Schools Awards this week to see if
Mrs Johnson was to win the School
Support Staff of the Year Award.
Sadly she didnt win but we all had a great time anyway and we did meet Diane Oxenberry from the
North West news reports weather section.

Also this week the Wrens held a super plant sale and raffle in aid of the Emily Ffion Trust. It was a
fantastic afternoon which raised am amazing 353.87. Our thanks go to Mrs Hollins and the Wrens for
their hard work.

Year 6 had an amazing day in London this week visiting Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, St James
Park, Big Ben, getting right up to the door of 10 Downing Street, going inside the House of Commons,
riding on the London eye, a boat trip down the Thames, the 4D experience, shopping in Piccadilly circus
and generally seeing lots of sights. All this on the day of the Tube strike! The children were as always
an amazing credit to the school.
