SCHOOL NEWS Class Structure for 2015-2016
Please check that your received a letter this week with some initial information about class structures
for next year. The letters confirming your childs class will be next out next Friday via the post.
Warm Weather
It was been lovely to have the warm weather this week and heres hoping it will last (although the
forecast is not so good for next week). Please ensure that your child brings a full water bottle to
school each day to help keep them hydrated (they can fill it up in school) as well as applying sun
cream to them before school and providing them with a suitable hat. Please note that staff are unable
to apply sun cream to children.
Year 6 Prom and School Disco
This takes place this year on Wednesday 15 July and is currently being organised by the PTA and
various Year 6 parents. Please note that this event will take place at the Mollington Village hall NOT
the school this year.
Good luck to the football team!
I am sure you will join me in wishing the best of luck to our school football team as they represent the
North of England in the national finals at Lilleshall tomorrow. To get to this stage has been an amazing
achievement so far. There will be twitter updates of our progress as the day goes on.
Please be considerate to our neighbours
Please could I politely ask all parents to be respectful of our neighbours who live in close proximity to
the school, particularly at the drop off and collecting times when traffic is very busy around school.
Many thanks for your support in this.

Cricket Tournament
Our cricket team was represented in a tournament this week held at Boughton Hall cricket club and did
amazingly well against many other much larger schools. We eventually bowed out at the semi-final
stage to the eventual winners. Well done to all involved and thanks to Dave Challinor for looking after
the team on the day.
Goldfinches Forest School Day
The Goldfinches had an amazing day today in the forest doing a range of activities.
