MY CAREERFor my career I want to be an

expert mechanic. I have a job right now, and I work on

some motors. I have help with a

high class mechanic. But

when I get older, I want to be able

to work on motors all by

myself.

Education and Experience

The education and experience I would need for this job is to read about being a mechanic, take classes so you can sketch out the motor or motors such as mechanical drafting or drawing, and so fourth.

Base Salary The base salary for

an average auto mechanic would be around $16 an hour. For other mechanics such as jet engine mechanics, car mechanics, etc.

Expected Growth or Decline

The job opportunities for mechanical engineers are outstanding. Nationwide, demand for all types of engineers remains well above the average for all other professions. And the mechanical engineers are in even greater demand than most other types of engineers. The U.S. Department of Labor expects that America will need as many as 87,000 new mechanical engineers by the time today's high school seniors graduate.

Area for Job The area where I

would have to live in to obtain my job would probably be in the most needed places for mechanical engineering. Such as like in big cities like New York City and other cities like that.

About Me There’s really isn’t

anything much to say about me. All I have to say is that I am a good guy to get along with. I might screw around with you but hey, it’s me. Whatever I can think of, I do. I don’t play so much video games but I still do. The only game I play is probably Rockband. I also like to work on cars with my dad. So far I worked on his Jeep, Truck, and my moms Honda Pilot. I don’t know much about cars, but I’m getting their. I have a decent job and nice home. When I turn 18, I already have an apartment coming towards me. So there you have it. Nice life, huh?
