Home study activitySing the Toy song with your child. Take turns singing both parts. Walk around your house with your child looking for toys to identify (a ball, a jump rope, a yo-yo, a bicycle). Have your child point to the toy and say It’s a (ball). Have your child bounce and catch the ball, saying the sentence each time. Then play with other toys and identify them.

Ask your child to identify the first letter in his or her name.
