FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2017

SPIRITUAL HEALTH:

➢ We experienced God through our personal encounter with God and

shown our love towards others.

➢ Day by day our knowledge towards the bible is increasing through reading

the bible one chapter everyday.

➢ Now and then inspirational spiritual stories are told by our sisters which

increases our thirst for the spiritual life.

COMMUNITY LIFE:

“Community is our first mission”

➢ Sisters are happy in the community and doing their responsibility according

to their conscious.

➢ We had relaxation and recreation from which we got the energy to our

mind and body, and this in turn strengthened our community life.

➢ Sr. Sabeena attended retreat from 18.01.2017 to 24.01.2017 at Hill top, St.

Thomas International Retreat Centre, St. Thomas Mount.

➢ Sr. Lilly & Sr. Sabeetha went for a one day picnic to visit Pilgrims at Elagiri

along with Parishners.

➢ We celebrated Pongal on 14.01.2017 in a simple manner.

PASTORAL MINISTRY

➢ We regularly take Catechism class at our Parish.

➢ Sisters organised Parents meeting for the Catechism students at our Parish

on 08.01.2017.

INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT

➢ We are developing our knowledge through various spiritual books,

magazines.

EDUCATIONAL MISSION

MEETING / SEMINARS

➢ Working Committee meeting was conducted every evening to discuss about the

day and the next days activities.

➢ On 04.01.2017 Mr. N. Matha Kumar went to CEO office to submit proposal

letter to conduct NSS special camp.

➢ On 07.01.2017 Open day Evaluation meeting for KG - Std. V was conducted

from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon and the same was conducted in the afternoon

session for Std VI and above.

➢ Principal attended IMS meeting on 30.01.2017 at Leo Matric School, Anna

Nagar regarding Higher Secondary Board exam, Students EMIS, Aadhar card

& Measles vaccination.

ACADEMIC

➢ School re-opened on 02.01.2017 for all the classes from PREKG – XII after the

Second Terminal Holiday.

➢ Model Board Exam commenced on 03.01.2017 for Std X.

➢ First Revision Exam commenced on 03.01.2017 for Std XII.

➢ II Term Exam answer sheets were distributed to all the students.

➢ Fee reminder circular was given to Std X & XII on 03.01.2017.

➢ Open day was conducted on 07.01.2017, Sat for LKG to Std. XII. 95 % of

parents attended the same and they discussed with concerned teacher about their

child’s performance in II term Examination.

➢ Toppers started to write full portion test on 09.01.2017 onwards.

➢ Subject Department head along with team went through the new books and

submitted the report on 20.01.2017.

➢ 8 of our students attended Young Achievers Talent Test YATT 2017 on

22.01.2017 (Sun).

➢ Second revision exam was commenced on 30.01.2017 for Std X & XII.

ACHIEVEMENT

➢ Slogan competition was conducted by

Road Safety Patrol at Sri Venkateshwara

Engg College, Thiruthani to

commemorate Road safety week. M.

Sonali of IX G placed II. Thiruvallur

District Collector Mrs. Sundaravalli

honoured the student by giving a shield

& cash award.

ONE DAY TRAINING CAMP

➢ One day training camp was conducted for Scouts & Guides, Cubs & Bul Bul…

on Saturday (07.01.2017).

NSS CAMP

➢ NSS special camp was conducted at Kavalchery from on 10.01.2017 to

12.01.2017.

CELEBRATION

➢ On 12.01.2017 KG students & teachers celebrated Pongal.

➢ On 12.01.2017 we celebrated Pongal in a simple manner. Students performed

culturals based on the harvest festival “Pongal”.

➢ Pre-KG students celebrated Fruits day on 24.01.2017 in order to learn the name

of the fruits.

➢ On 26.01.2017 we celebrated Republic day in a simple manner on 26.01.2017.

Sweets were distributed to the students of Std. VI-XII.

DEMO

➢ Primary students conducted demo on the topic “Positive Thinking” on

12.01.2017.

➢ On 12.01.2017 Assembly was conducted by LKG students based on

“Environmental Awareness” .

➢ Higher class students conducted demo during the Assembly on the topic

“Nutritional value” on 23.01.2017
