Three months have passed since I was assigned to the Lewis County Parishes as your new pas-tor. I want to thank everyone for your kind welcoming you have shown to Fr. Temo and myself. We are very happy to be among you as your spiritual leaders; we know our own limitations and you have been so patient with us.

As you know every time, we have new changes, those changes bring challenges too. I would like to thank those who are working in our parishes as staff members and volunteers of the Cluster; because their love and silent work they make possible that we can accomplish many good things for the wellbeing of the communities.

At the beginning of this new leadership I want to recognize all your efforts as a community to make possible that we continue doing our job with dedication, enthusiasm and love. These com-munities are well known because out of a generous heart you have supported the former pastor here in Lewis County. I know all the challenges you have been through. This is largely due to the loyalty and generosity of those from our faith communities who support the parishes ministries, organizations, activities and programs week in and week out. “If I may boast, I boast in the Lord who has blessed us abundantly and I boast in you who are so faithful and make every effort to grow in holiness/wholeness. (1Cor 1,31)

Your Catholic way of life and your spirit of family are the envy of many parishes within the Archdi-ocese. Why? We, as a cluster, do the “ordinary thing in life and do it extraordinarily well.” I am personally grateful and proud of you for your goodness to your parish and humbled by your sup-port of my ministry among you as your priest.

I would like to invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the Annual Catholic Appeal so that we can meet our goal in every parish. Increasing your offertory donations by 10%, will assist each parish to consider some of the many projects within the faith communities, with the help of the pastoral and finance council members, to maintain our programs and facilities. Adoration: We are needing people to be committed and sign up for Adoration on Wednesdays and Fridays. For safety reasons there

if no attendance.

SACRAMENTAL CERTIFICATES

We have many sacramental certificates from 2014-2018 that have never been picked up. Several attempts have been made to contact the families of individuals involved. We also have many phone numbers that need to be up-dated. Please contact the office if you have not picked up

your certificate.

We Need Volunteers for Baptism: We are looking for volunteers, preferably 2 or 3 individuals in English and Spanish to help assist Fr. or Deacon when there is baptisms on Saturday at 11AM(Spanish) & English(6PM). You will be shown what to do and assist on a rotation schedule so there will be continuity. Baptisms are scheduled every month. If you are interested please contact Theresa or Brenda at the

office.
