GROWTH GROUPS Spring FAQs

Q: How often will my Growth Group meet? A: Don’t worry. Growth Groups aren’t designed to eat up your schedule. Your group will meet once a week for 60 to 90 minutes, for 6-12 weeks.

Q: How can I be sure that there is a Growth Group for me? A: Convenient locations close to your work or home matter, so groups are offered all over Palm Beach County.

Q: What will the people be like in my Group? A: Look around at a weekend service… A Growth Group is basically 12 to 15 people who attend South Palm on a weekend and share an interest in studying the same topic as you.

Q: What happens when I sign up for a Growth Group? A: The leader of the your new Growth Group will contact you with the information that you will need to have a great experience!

Groups begin week of February 22, 2015. The week of March 22-28, groups will participate in LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE. April 5, is Easter Sunday and your group may or may not meet that week, please check with your growth group leader. Groups end the week of May 17.

Part 1

In the first part of this series, learn how to deal with the thousands of thoughts you have every day and focus your mind to think the way God thinks. Gain control of your mind, recognize damaging thoughts and stop them from influencing your life. Arm yourself with the Word of God, praise, and prayer, and find out how

to get out of your mental wilderness. This is a very practical and enlightening DVD series by Joyce Meyer – “Battlefield of the Mind.”

Part 2

As women in our present day culture, it is easy to let anxiety, depression, and the everyday demands of life weigh us down. Samaritan” style group is a service oriented group like no other that will get together to do planned weekly to bi-weekly serving projects in our local areas.
