Special Events at CMOM!

This summer, the fun was all around at CMOM! In July visitors were treated to Blue Bell Ice Cream at Sundae Sunday. Children and adults tested new flavors and created their own perfect sundae treat! The Blue Bell Country Girl and her sidekick cow posed for pictures with ice cream fans of all ages.

Friday Knight Out had kids fighting to be crowned the winner! The Collierville Arts Academy brought the Battlemasters™ program to CMOM to teach children about sword-play the safe way. Boys and girls learned the basics and then battled until there was one winner!

In August, Outback with Dora and Diego was a huge hit! Fans lined up for a chance to meet the lovable characters. The Friendzies kept visitors entertained with their hit music and the Memphis Zoo Animal Ambassadors brought along a few of their fuzzy and scaly friends!

and activities to introduce the presidential election process and our judicial system. Spin the wheel to answer trivia questions about our past presidents and win prizes. All votes will be counted and results posted on our website and in The Commercial Appeal.

Since that beginning the Hyde Family Foundations have continuously partnered with CMOM to fund our literacy and educational programs, including the Bookatarium exhibit.

The grantmaking of the Hyde Family Foundations is focused on supporting initiatives that empower people and programs dedicated to making measurable differences in the community, and on providing leadership on public policy issues that will help Memphis become a world-class, 21st century city.

The Hyde Family Foundations are committed to supporting and funding high-impact initiatives in Memphis focusing on three distinct areas of influence:
