ScanGenie Series The ScanGenie Series features state-of-the-art data acquisition hardware for structural health monitoring applications that supports large sensor network area monitoring. The compact and light-weight hardware comes with a simple I/O interface, and can be used in a large variety of applications such as composite damage detection, crack detection, corrosion monitoring, state sensing and much more.

ScanGenie II

ScanGenie II controls the active interrogation of both metal and composite structures through sensor activation and response for damage detection, particularly for large area monitoring. The hardware can monitor up to 320 sensors to monitor structural integrity through both through transmission and pulse echo modes. It also features temperature sensing and sensor diagnostics.

ScanGenie Mini

ScanGenie Mini is our latest model in the Smart Suitcase Series purpose-built far “active” damage detection. It features a very lightweight compact design that can support up to 32 sensors. It can also be customized to interface as an onboard active system.

ScanGenie On-board

ScanGenie II On-board hardware is the ScanGenie II configured with a single board computer to function as an on-board active sensing SHM system. It supports military standard features and connectors for reliable in flight and on-board functionality using up to 32 sensors.

ScanGenie cPCI

The ScanGenie cPCI card is an active damage detection system interfaced with the aerospace industry standard VxWorks operating system environment for on-board applications. The data acquisition card supports up to 32 sensors.

GeniePad

The GeniePad is the latest model in the ScanGenie II hardware series. The GeniePad is a 64-channel ScanGenie II integrated with a touch screen tablet forming a light-weight handheld data acquisition system.

ScanSentry Series

The ScanSentry series consists of our specialized hardware dedicated for hot-spot monitoring. This series was created to be able to provide solutions to challenges encountered in monitoring hard to monitor hot-spot areas with very small coverage area. With this in mind, the ScanSentry series hardware was designed for low crosstalk. This allows for extremely close sensor spacing for high-resolution fatigue crack monitoring.

ScanSentry High Voltage

ScanSentry High Voltage has the same features as the ScanSentry but has a maximum actuation signal amplitude that is 60 percent more than the standard ScanSentry. It also offers twice the number of channels respectively. This increases the sensor network configuration options allows for additional applications to be applied.

ScanPad

Acellent ScanPad is an all-in-one handheld device which features the standard ScanSentry interfaced with a touch-screen tablet operating on Windows 7 Pro. The ScanPad is preconfigured to control data acquisition and data analysis with damage detection via the installed Acellent software. This is a convenient alternative especially when working with monitored structures on site.

The ScanSentry is designed to have the same SHM monitoring functions as the ScanGenie series while specializing on hot-spot monitoring. With 32 total channels (16 discrete actuators and 16 discrete receiver channels), it offers the lowest crosstalk of any of our hardware solutions. The reduced crosstalk facilitates close sensor spacing enabling high-resolution fatigue crack monitoring. The hardware features a very lightweight design and easy to learn and use I/O interface.

IMGenie II

The IMGenie II is a lightweight, low profile, battery-powered device that reports impact events in real-time. With the 64 channels standard and wireless card option, IMGenie II can efficiently monitor large structure remotely. Power saving sleep mode allows IMGenie II to "wake up" upon impact to reports the impact's time, force and location.

APA40-A Acellent’s wide-band power amplifier is a 40 Watt, wideband, power amplifier with an output voltage range of 70 Volts. The Amplifier APA40-A has a fixed gain of 20dB with <0.3% distortion over the entire frequency range while having a slew rate that is greater than 600V/s. It is significantly smaller (only 1/10 the size of KH7500) and lighter (only 1/6 the weight of KH7500) than the KH7500, making it easier to handle and to use. Amplifier APA40-A also provides much stronger power than Acellent's old amplifier model AT76. The amplifier can be used for piezoelectric applications as well as many other applications.
