A Wilder Life

Having your first baby changes everything. This is a really interesting concept because I feel that I had my first baby in 2005 when I launched Skirt Sports. I ran on adrenaline for a few years while my baby learned how to walk and talk. Eventually Skirt Sports entered middle school and I decided that it was time to have a baby of the other variety the squawking, cooing, peeping, pooping variety!

When Wilder DeBoom entered this world in December 2011, everything changed. For the better. What I didnt know before I became a mom was that you can actually grow up all over againthrough the lens of a little baby crawling around. The problem is that when you actually crawl around too, you realize you havent cleaned the house much lately! But some things are more important than others.

So heres the deal... I was already too busy before I had a baby. I wondered how I could possibly add something so huge to my already overfl owing plate. Im sure you can relate. My advice: Take care of yourself first and the rest will follow.
