The South East Sustainability Loan Fund

Funding for Green Businesses in South EastEngland

The South East Sustainability Loan Fund (SESLF), launched in 2010, has recently funded itstenth deal, which brings the total funding to South East based, growth oriented green

technology related businesses to almost 750,000 over the past year.

Providing funding between 20,000 and 200,000, the SESLF will continue to provide essentialgrowth finance to innovative green businesses until 31 December 2014.

Customer-Sited Tier Fuel Cell Program

NYSERDA's Customer-Sited Tier Fuel Cell Program will provide as much as $21.6 million through2015. The program provides an incentive toward the cost of fuel cell installation, plus payments

over the first three years of operation based on power produced. Companies can collect a totalpayment of up to $1 million for fuel cells, based on the size of the project. Funding is awarded

to applications received on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Copeland Council Low Carbon Grant

An event to launch the Copeland Council Low Carbon Grant, which will be available to small andmedium-sized enterprises in Copeland carrying out carbon saving projects, will be held on 06

April 2011 at the Beacon Centre in Whitehaven.

Grant assistance will be available from 500 - 4,000, 50% of which should be match funded.Applicants should evidence a saving of 1.5 tonnes of CO2 per 1,000 of grant.

10 Million Funding for Low Carbon VehicleProjects

The Government's Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is providing10 million for three major projects to address fundamental research questions in developing

low carbon vehicles.
