GOSPEL REFLECTION In the gospel today, Jesus continues to

speak about love. Those who live will

experience God's love in their lives and the gift of peace that only Christ can give. Jesus also promises to send the Paraclete, or the Comforter, to his

disciples. The Paraclete is the Holy Spirit, who will guide the Church for all time. Jesus' followers will not

be left on their own.

Religious Education: This past Wednesday was the last

class for this school year. We would like to extend special

thanks to the teachers for their gifts of time and talent

sharing their faith with the youth of our parish:

Natalie Armbrister, Sarah Leiker, Joseph Pfannenstiel,

Casey Staab and Coordinator Kolleen Dome.

The Knights of Columbus will be

serving a full breakfast in honor of all

mothers on Mother’s Day, May 8th

,

immediately following Mass. This

will be in place of our usual first

Sunday of the month social. Free will

donations accepted with proceeds

going to replacement of the church heating system.

Everyone is welcome to join us in honoring motherhood.

St. Joseph Cemetery (Hays) maintenance staff will be

preparing the cemetery for Memorial Day, beginning on

Monday, May 9. We ask that you remove any floral

arrangements or decorations that you wish to keep, with the

exception of those in containers or vases attached to the

monument. Items not picked up which interfere with the

mowing and trimming will be removed and disposed of by

the cemetery staff. Your cooperation will be appreciated!

Happy Birthday wishes are extended to

Father Jarett on his birthday today!

May you have a blessed day!

please no rental properties.

Thank you in advance for welcoming the young people and

pray that the experience will allow them to break free from

the everyday business of life and that they are able be

Christ to whom they serve.

first. And begin love there.” -Blessed Mother Teresa
