HISTORY
1939 Arie van der LInden starts a repair shop for
woodworking machinery in Rotterdam under the
name ‘LIMARO’.
1946 Production of new wood working machines.
1953 Specializing in sanding machines (stroke sander,
drum sander).
1963 Wide belt contact (contact roller) sander
‘SANDINGMASTER’, specializing in wide belt
sanders.
1970 Wide belt grinding machines for metal
‘GRINDINGMASTER’.
1996 Linden Machines becomes (with her division
names SANDINGMASTER and GRINDINGMASTER)
part of the TIMESAVERS group. The name
Linden disappears and the company continues as
TIMESAVERS INTERNATIONAL B.V. and takes care
of all the activities of the TIMESAVERS group in the
world with exception of the USA.
2003 Timesavers improves their worldwide marketleader
position in Metal Deburring, and Finishing Wide
belt machines, with new high precision Calibrating
machines and Wet Coil Finishing lines.
TIMESAVERS and SANDINGMASTER-GRINDINGMASTER
have built and sold over all these years of their existence
about 110.000 machines, with customers in nearly all
countries over the world.
