Dinner Party Instructions

• You will work in groups of four.

• Each person is responsible for two people. Sitting them

• Each person will write a paragraph each about the two people they seated and their history. One paragraph on each. Two paragraphs total.

1. How was the person significant to cold war history?

2. What did the person do? When were they significant? Where are they from?

3. Why did you sit them together?

4. What will they talk about?

5. Fun facts?

• Make it fun.

What was the Cold War example

The Cold War was tension without an actual war that was fought

between Soviet Union and communism and the U..S and capitalism.

The United States was trying to stop the spread of communism

which was referred to as containment.

Period of open hostility between the Soviet Union and the United States

following World War II to 1991, characterized by a power struggle between

Soviet communist and U.S. capitalist ideologies. Give examples.
