Update Seduku still fit and healthy eventhough she getting to reach 48 years old.Her behaviour not much diferent from last quarter.Her third baby boy Ganya still like to follow her when came for feeding.Her diet still good but a little bit choosy on food that we were ready for them.

Update Analisa is doing fine taking care of her male baby.She is very caring mother.She always be alert when came for feeding.When there is other male or female orangutan at the feeding platform she will stay longer in forest and came for feeding when they are gone. She and her baby look fine and healthy.

Anyway he have to be alert because at this moment Edwin the second alpha male always waiting for the good chance to catch and might kill him.

Update Sigat is Sadamiah second offspring. The name ‘Sigat’ has been choosen to reflect success of Semenggoh from a centre for orangutan refuge into home for these endangered Borneon orangutan. Sigatwhich also means handsome, smart, beautiful and diligent in Malay, Iban and Bidayuh language signify the beauty of the animals or orangutan that we had produce in Semenggoh that are now behave like their cousin in the wild. Sigatcurrently, still cling tightly to his mother & on breastfeeding.

Update He has a good appetite and being such a darling to many other visitors. Being the third biggest male, he still very aware of surrounding each time he came for feeding.He like to be on the ground when no other big male around.He doesn’t care about the crowd as he was used to human being. Sometime he purposely lied himself down on the middle of the road waiting for the feeder to feed him. What a couch orangutan he is !
