Summary

Symptom This note is only relevant for batch splits or for multiple use of the same

material number in a single production order or in a collective order.

This note corrects the following errors in batch determination and in

determining the 'confirmed quantity':

1. When you carry out a batch determination with a batch split in a

production order or when you manually add a batch and then manually

trigger an availability check, the system displays an incorrect

'confirmed quantity'.

The following example is intended to explain the problem:

Material stock X , Batch B1 = 1500 pcs

  X , Batch B2 = 20 pcs

Order 4711: Material X 500 pcs and call of the material availability

check

Result for order 4711: 500 pcs are confirmed.

Order 4712: Material X 1420 pcs and call of the batch determination

Result for order 4712:

Reason:

If you allocated the entire Batch B1 in Order 4712, Order 4711 would

never be able to carry out a goods issue, even though it carried out

its reservations at an earlier date.

2. The batch determination and availability checks did not consider

materials that appeared several times in an order.

3. When a superior order was released in a collective order, the system

did not carry out an automatic batch determination with availability

check for the subordinate order.

checks and planning availability check, and so on), as well as various

customer requirements made this extensive note necessary. The complexity of

the processes between orders / batch determination / availability checks

unfortunately require you to implement all further notes in their entirety,

and to reach a comparable level to the standard SAP System. We apologize

once again for the delay in providing you with this solution.

Release 3.1G : 67774This note is contained in Hot Package 19 for Release 3.0D (named 3.0D/2)

and Hot Package 4 for Release 3.0F (named 3.0F/1). Unfortunately, the

version implemented in Hot Package 4 for Release 3.0F contains an error

which is corrected with Note 80523. Note 80523 is contained in Hot Package

15 for Release 3.0F.

A simplified delivery for other releases via Hot Packages or via a

transport request on one of the sapservX servers is not possible!
