Agonía estamos comprometidos a traer personalmente

a alguien nuevo a la misa de la calle el próximo

domingo, 1 de julio. Nos comprometemos a trabajar

arduamente en nuestros diferentes grupos de devoción

para cumplir nuestra meta de atraer gente a este evento

eucarístico. Que el Espíritu Santo nos llene con el celo

CURSILLISTAS: Los Cursillistas están invitando a

todos sus miembros a un viaje al Parque Estatal

Rockland el sábado 14 de julio de 2018. Este viaje está

VACACIONES DE VERANO: A medida que nos

MADRE DEL PERPETUO SOCORRO: La

comunidad filipina será la anfitriona de la fiesta de

Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro el miércoles

27 de junio de 2018. Tendremos una misa especial

en honor a Nuestra Señora a las 7:30 pm seguido

por un compartir. Todos son bienvenidos.

LA CAMPAÑA ANUAL DEL CARDENAL: Quiero agradecer

a todos ustedes que ya han contribuido a la Campaña anual del

Cardenal de este año. Nuestro objetivo este año es veintinueve

mil dólares ($ 29,000.00). Hasta Ahora hemos recaudado

quince mil ($ 15,000.00) Estamos a mitad del camino para

alcanzar nuestra meta.

TEMAS PARA EL DEBATE: Tenemos tres temas que nos

gustaría ofrecer a nuestros feligreses: Primero, qué es la

depresión y cómo la manejamos. Segundo, ¿alguna vez has

experimentado un trauma y cómo lo manejas? En tercer lugar,

¿cuáles son las influencias malvadas, la posesión demoníaca y

el exorcismo?

SERVIDORES DE ALTAR: Animo a los niños que han

recibido su Primera Comunión a unirse al ministerio de

monaguillos para que puedan participar y ayudar en la litur-

capacitación.

CONCIERTO DE AGOSTO: Nuestro concierto para

recaudar fondos presentando a Cita Rodríguez aquí

en Saint Cecilia / Holy Agony se realizará el viernes

17 de agosto de 2018 a partir de las 6:30 p.m. Los fon-

dos ayudarán a pagar las renovaciones de la iglesia.

Por favor llame a la oficina para reservar su asiento e

invite a amigos para hacer que nuestro evento sea exi-

toso. Carlos Díaz está trabajando arduamente para

que sea un éxito y nosotros, como feligreses, tene-

MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP: The Filipino

community will be hosting the feast of Our Lady of

Perpetual Help on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018. We

have a special mass in honor Our Lady at 7:30pm

followed by fellowship. All are welcome.

THE CARDINAL’S ANNUAL APPEAL: I want to

thank all of you who have already contributed to this

year’s Cardinal’s annual Appeal. Our goal this year is

twenty nine thousand dollars ($29,000.00). We have

now raised fifteen thousand ($15,000.00) towards our

goal. We are half way to reaching to reaching our goal.

STREET MASS: We at Saint Cecilia and Holy

Agony Church commit to personally bring someone

new to the street mass next Sunday, July 1st. We

commit to work hard in our different devotional

groups to meet our goal of bringing people to this

Eucharistic event. May the Holy Spirit fill us with the

zeal to evangelize.

TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION: We have three topics

that we would like to offer to our parishioners:

First, what is depression and how do we

handle it. Second, have you ever experienced

trauma and how do you handle it. Third, what

are evil influences, demonic possession and

exorcism.

AUGUST CONCERT: Our fund raising concert featuring

Cita Rodriguez here at Saint Cecilia / Holy Agony is

coming up on Friday, August 17th, 2018, from 6:30pm.

The funds will help in paying for the renovations of the

church. Please call the office to reserve your seat and invite

friends to make our event successful. Carlos Diaz is

working hard to make it a success and we as

parishioners have to support him by patronizing this

event for the good of our parish. You can purchase your

tickets in the parish office.

SUMMER VACATIONS: As we approach the

summer vacations we ask our parishioners to keep

Saint Cecilia/Holy Agony in mind with your

contributions that help us pay the bills every month

and the daily running of the parish. We truly thank

you for your continued support of Saint Cecilia and

Holy Agony.

RAFFLE DRAWING: Given that we did not

sale well the raffle tickets, we have postponed

the drawing to August 17 during the

concert. Sorry for the inconvenience and

good luck to everyone.

THE BOOK SERIES: We will continue with our

book series and for the fall we will be reading and

discussing the book, Resisting Happiness. It is in the

book store for a donation of two dollars ($2). Get your

copy and read ahead.

ALTAGRACIA: I would like to meet with the leaders

of Altagracia and parishioners who are devoted to Our

Lady of All Graces on Tuesday, June 26th, 2017 at

7:00pm for a short time. We will meet in the chapel.
