TWENTY-EIGHTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME OCTOBER 11, 2020

GUADALUPANOS: A medida que nos acercamos a

la fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, el comité

pronto tendrá una reunión para prepararse bien. Por el

momento, ya pueden prepararse para donar los

siguientes artículos, flores y dinero para cubrir el costo

de organizar la fiesta de la parroquia. Comuníquese

MISA ESPECIAL CON ORACIONES POR LOS

ENFERMOS: Tendremos una misa especial con

oraciones por los enfermos el jueves 15 de octubre

en la iglesia. Comenzaremos con el rosario a las 6:30

pm orando por la intercesión de Nuestra Señora por

los enfermos de nuestra parroquia. La Santa Misa

comenzará a las 7:00 pm. Continuaremos con la

exposición del Santísimo Sacramento y la oración

por los enfermos de nuestra comunidad.

MISA ALTAGRACIANO: El lunes 19 de octubre

tendremos nuestra misa mensual en honor a Nuestra

Señora de Todas las Gracias. Comenzaremos rezando

el rosario antes de la misa a las 6:30 pm y

continuaremos con la celebración de la Sagrada

Eucaristía a las 7:00 pm. Todos son bienvenidos.

GRACIAS: Agradecemos de todo corazón a

nuestros mayores por donar ochocientos

dólares a la iglesia para ayudar a pagar

nuestras cuentas. Que el Señor los bendiga y

les dé buena salud en este difícil momento de

la pandemia. Nuevamente, gracias y que Dios

esté con cada uno de ustedes.

GRAN RIFA: Tendremos unas hojas de registro en la

parte trasera de la iglesia para todos nuestros feligreses

que estarán dispuestos a ayudarnos en la venta de bole-

tos para nuestra rifa parroquial. Estamos atrasados en

algunos de nuestros proyectos de nuestra deuda a la

Arquidiócesis, como el Proyecto Renovar y Recon-

struir. Escriba claramente su nombre y número de

teléfono y cuántos folletos puede ayudarnos a vender.

TODOS LOS SANTOS: El domingo 1 de noviembre

es la solemnidad de Todos los Santos, es un día santo

de obligación. Como católicos estamos obligados a

participar activamente en la Santa Misa. Tendremos

dos misas, 9:00am y 11:00am.

TODAS LAS ALMAS: el lunes 2 de noviembre

celebramos a los fieles difuntos, todas las almas. Re-

cordamos a los feligreses que tendremos dos misas

bilingües de 8:00 am y 7:00 pm. Continuaremos con

nuestra tradición de traer velas blancas en vidrio con el

nombre del ser querido escrito en él. Colocaremos las

velas en la mesa del costado del altar de Nuestra

Señora del Perpetuo Socorro.

SAN MARTIN de PORRES: El grupo tendrá

una novena en zoom a partir del 26 de octu-

bre durante los nueve días y luego tendrá una

celebración de San Martín de Porres el martes

3 de noviembre con la Santa Misa a las 7:00

pm. Todos son bienvenidos.

GRUPO DE ORACIÓN: Reabriremos el grupo de

oración Santa Cecilia y Santa Agonía a partir del

primer jueves de noviembre. Los líderes están pre-

parados para seguir y hacer cumplir todas las regula-

ciones para mantener a todos y a ellos mismos segu-

ros. Animamos a todos los feligreses a participar en

el grupo de oración sin miedo.

VIGILIA DE HALLOWEEN: El sábado 31 de octubre

tendremos una vigilia santa aquí en la iglesia de San-

ta Cecilia y la Santa Agonía de 10 p.m. a 6 a.m. Ten-

dremos la oración y la reflexión con la exposición del

Santísimo Sacramento. El predicador será Heriberto

Díaz y la animación musical correrá a cargo de Ri-

cardo Solórzano. Todos son bienvenidos a formar

parte de esta noche de adoración, oración y alabanza.

Lady of Guadalupe, the committee will soon have a

meeting to prepare well. For the time being you can

SPECIAL MASS WITH PRAYERS FOR THE

SICK: We will have a special mass with prayers for

the sick on Thursday, October 15th in the church. We

will begin with a rosary at 6:30pm praying for the

intercession of Our Lady for the sick in our parish. The

Holy Mass will start at 7:00pm. We will continue with

the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and prayers

for the sick in our community.

ALTAGRACIANO MASS: On Monday, October

19th we will have our monthly mass in honor of Our

Lady of All Graces. We will begin by praying the

rosary before mass at 6:30pm and continue with the

celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 7:00pm. All are

welcome.

THANK YOU: We whole heartedly thank our seniors

for donating eight hundred dollars to the church

to help pay our bills. May the Lord bless them and

give them good health in this difficult time of the

pandemic. Again, thank you and God be with each

one of you.

GRAND RAFFLE: We will have a registration papers

at the back of the church for all our parishioners who

will be willing to help us in the sale of tickets for our

parish raffle. We are behind in some of our bills to the

Archdiocese in very much behind in our Renew and

Rebuild Project. Please write your name clearly and

telephone number and how many booklets you can

help us sale.

ALL SAINTS: Sunday, November 1st is the solemnity

of All Saints, a holy day of obligation. As Catholics

we are required to actively participate in the Holy

Mass. We will have two masses, 8:00am in the

morning English and 11:00am Spanish.

ALL SOULS: Monday, November 2nd we celebrate

the faithful departed - all souls. We remind the

parishioners that we will have bilingual 8:00am Mass

and 7:00pm. We will continue with our tradition of

bringing white candles in glass with the names of the

loved one written on it. We will place the candles on

the table on the side of Our Lady of Perpetual Help

altar.

ST. MARTIN de PORRES: The group will

have a zoom novena starting October 26th

for the nine days and then have a celebration

of Saint Martin de Porres on Tuesday,

November 3rd with the Holy Mass at 7:00pm.

All are welcome.

PRAYER GROUP: We will reopen Saint Cecilia and

Holy Agony prayer group from the first Thursday of

November. The leaders are prepared to follow and

enforce all the regulations so as to keep everyone and

themselves safe. We encourage all the parishioners to

participate in the prayer group with no fear.

HALLOWEEN VIGIL: On Saturday, October 31st

we will have a holy vigil here at Saint Cecilia and

Holy Agony Church from 10pm to 6am. We will

have the prayers and reflection with the exposition of

the Blessed Sacrament. The preacher will be Heriberto

Diaz and the music animation will be done by Ricardo

Solorzano. All are welcome to be part of this night of

adoration, prayer and praise.

Prayer Before an Election

Lord God, as the election approaches,

we seek to better understand the issues and concerns

that confront our city/state/country, and how the Gos-

pel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our

community.

We ask for eyes that are free from blindness

so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters,

one and equal in dignity, especially those who are vic-

tims of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty.

We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children un-

born and those abandoned,

Men and women oppressed because of race or creed,

religion or gender.

We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing

the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your

Kingdom. We pray for discernment so that we may

choose leaders who hear your Word,

live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth

as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles

and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace.

We ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ

and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

SANCTUARY LAMP: The sanctuary lamp

will be lit from Monday, October 26th to Octo-

ber 31st in thanksgiving for blessings received.

Oración antes de las elecciónes

Señor Dios, al acercarse las elecciones, bus-

camos comprender mejor los problemas y pre-

ocupaciones que enfrenta nuestra ciudad /

estado / país, y cómo el Evangelio nos obliga a

responder como ciudadanos fieles en nuestra

comunidad. Pedimos ojos libres de ceguera para que nos

veamos como hermanos y hermanas, uno e

igual en dignidad, especialmente aquellos que

son víctimas de abuso y violencia, engaño y

pobreza. Pedimos oídos que escuchen el llanto de los

niños por nacer y los abandonados, Hombres y mujeres oprimidos por motivos de

raza o credo, religión o género. Pedimos mentes y corazones que estén abiertos

a escuchar la voz de líderes que nos acercarán

a tu Reino. Oramos por discernimiento para

que podamos elegir líderes que escuchen tu

Palabra, vivan tu amor y siguan los caminos de tu ver-

dad mientras siguen los pasos de Jesús y sus

apóstoles y guíanos a tu Reino de justicia y

paz. Te lo pedimos en el nombre de tu Hijo Jesu-

cristo y por el poder del Espíritu Santo. Amén.

LÁMPARA DEL SANTUARIO: La lámpara del

santuario se encenderá desde el lunes 26 de octubre

hasta el 31 de octubre en acción de gracias por las ben-

diciones recibidas. Esto ha sido solicitado por la Sra.
