Serving You!
I wish to thank everyone for the warm welcome to San Angelo Country Club. I am excited to become
part of the team and look forward to serving you.
Team Commitment to you! The team has developed a plan of action to better serve you:
Communication: Web page is undergoing change to better serve you. It would seem that Club Soft
our web provider has been acquired by Club Essential and they are no longer going to support our
version of the links web page. I have been in discussions with the powers to be that we are extremely
dissatisfied with our product and their future plans. I have a meeting with them on Tuesday August
25th to ensure that they deliver the product they promised. Our commitment to you is that we will
have this problem solved by the end of September.
Now the good news with the assistance of the membership committee we are proposing a new mobile
app that will improve club communication 100% with features like Instant alerts of news, specials
and upcoming events right to your mobile, GPS yardage from your mobile to specific points on the
course, players can keep their scores and stats throughout the round and directly email scores at end
of round, Direct calling and emailing at your mobile, updates to all club events, tournament and event
registration, view menus which is integrated a call feature to go orders. Call the Club (325-651-7227)
with you mobile number, or fill out a form in the Golf Shop, Tennis Shop, or Clubhouse.
Newsletter: the team has been working hard with the assistance of Stacie Elkins improving our layout
and material. We now will work very hard to have the newsletter out to you by the 20th of the month
and each edition will feature detailed information of all club events happing for the next two months
and have an upcoming section featuring all upcoming events for the year.
Programming: the team has been hard at work developing programs for all the members. Chef and
Curtis have done a wonderful job with the fabulous sweeps events and culinary experience. We are
looking at all aspects of the membership to ensure we are exceeding your expectations. A few new
programming: Couples Night with three course dinner for two under $40.00, all you can eat potato
and salad bar, and coming soon is Daniels Table featuring 8 course culinary delights paired with
wine, also you will notice in this newsletter we will feature bingo night, movie night, yoga and dance
classes.
If there is anything you would like to see at the club please let me know at
Yours in Service,
George Rees
