This week, the focus was for children to show that they are really looking after our

outdoor resources and these children have done a great job in doing this.

Next week’s focus is to look at communication in all of its many manifestations! Let’s see

next week who is improving with the ways they communicate to us, to each other and

through their activities.

The Artists of the Week went to Holly and Louis in Year 2 for their spectacular water

colour paintings of animals. We simply couldn’t choose one over the other, so we

decided to award both of them the accolade. As you can see, they’re beautiful – well

done to both.

The Musician of the Week goes to Alberta in Nursery Class. Paul said that he was very

impressed with her rendition of 'Let It Go'. Her singing voice is coming along nicely and

she is already very confident with performing. Her behaviour and enthusiasm during

music is always amazing, well done, keep it up!

Jimmy, you use please and thank you every day at lunch time, in class, in the playground – everywhere! Well done you, and keep it up! Thank you if you have already brought in your children’s old wellies. Please have a good look for

any outdoorsy items you think would be useful to us. It makes a big difference to the children!

Thank you in advance also to all the parents and staff who are coming into school tomorrow to

work on the next phase of the playground. News and photos to follow in the next newsletter.

We always have tremendous prizes for the raffle and silent auction at our summer fetes.

If you can offer a prize, or know a local business that would be so kind as to donate

one that would be wonderful. I’m delighted to say that we have already received a

massively kind donation from a parent of hospitality tickets to Silverstone Race Track.

Wow! Last year we had a trip to the Shard, a case of fine wine, a fruit basket, a box of

macarons and many more. Please let Rob or a Parents’ Network rep know if you can

help. Many thanks in advance.
