Our Mission 

The Peachtree Ridge Robotics Team is a student-led organization at Peachtree Ridge High Schoolthat participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition as well VEX robotics competitions. Founded

in 2004, the team has grown into a multi-cultural team with over fifty members.

Dedicated to fostering a passion in science and technology within our community, we provide

opportunities for students to develop skills in design, mechanical, electrical and computer

 programming as they build on two different robotic foundations. The team also hosts a  public VEX robotics competition at the school and showcases our FRC  robots at different

events in the community to demonstrate how exciting and inspiring robotics can be.

Support Benefits

The Peachtree Ridge High School Robotics Team strives to support the robotics competition leagues

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and VEX while also involving

high school students in their communities. The team creates many opportunities for students toexplore science and technology through annual robotics competitions and events. Studies have

shown that F.I.R.S.T. Robotics participants are*:

Four times as likely to pursue a career in engineering

Twice as likely to pursue a career in science and technology

More than twice as likely to volunteer in their communities

Operating as a corporation, the team is comprised of different divisions

specializing in diverse areas. These divisions are shown in the table below.

The Peachtree Ridge High School Robotics team is a non-profit organization (501(c)3

certified) that depends on the support of its community. Support can be in the form of

materials, mentorship, services, or funds. Donations are tax-deductible and each level of

sponsorship is entitled to different benefits and visibility.
